Thought this would be a fun topic of discussion, posting photos of old breedings that were important to your programs (or that would have been if they took).

Here is a breeding I did that would have been a doozie ... if it took :(

Poncho x Squirrel (http://www.thepitbullbible.com/forum/bulldog_breedingprofile.php?breeding_id=48)

I did this breeding in 1995. Keep in mind that Poncho was around 50lb on the chain and Squirrel was only around 34 lb c/w (31 p/w). She was HUGE for her weight and had the best air of any bitch I have ever seen in my life (even with 2 others).

Unfortunately, the breeding never took. It was another "if only" story :crying:

I am going to go through all my old photos and add all the old, original Vise-Grip dogs ... as well as all of the original breedings ... just for fun's sake (and to load the database with good info). You and others are welcome to do the same with your own foundational breedings/dogs :)

Here is one of Poncho Jr. to Jueteng:

I expected this breeding to be a real good one, combining Poncho x Mayday up top, and Poncho x Coca Cola on bottom. It produced two Pups, one a female I lost track of named Juniorita, and a male named Muscle Head. Muscle Head proved to be a ho-hum dog, nothing bad, but nothing worth talking about either. However, as a stud dog, he threw Brick House & Icon. Brick House was a very hard-mouth face/mouth dog, who when she was young would eat a bitch's teeth out, and her brother Icon was simply one of the fastest, smartest, and best head dogs I have ever owned.

However, I attribute these traits more to their mother Jezebel, who was simply the best and most athletic bitch I have ever bred.

One of Screaming Icon's daughter is a mouth dog her self. It's pretty gruesome watching her in school, especially against one my own.

Yeah, as soon as I find out one is a mouth dog, they don't get put with one of my own again after that

Poncho x Wild Red Rose (http://www.thepitbullbible.com/forum/bulldog_breedingprofile.php?breeding_id=50)

This was one of the first inbreedings that I did with Poncho, which was back to his daughter Wild Red Rose.

The result was an all-game litter ... with a pair, Chase (http://www.thepitbullbible.com/forum/bulldog_profile.php?dog_id=5376) and Chita (http://www.thepitbullbible.com/forum/bulldog_profile.php?dog_id=5377), being superb producers in Idaho (where EZ has built a huge legacy of Champions and winners off these dogs) ... while another went to Italy, Roja (http://www.thepitbullbible.com/forum/bulldog_profile.php?dog_id=6824) and Whitehead (http://www.thepitbullbible.com/forum/bulldog_profile.php?dog_id=6823), both of whom won their matches, with one (Whitehead) also winning International Best-In-Show in an ADBA-sanctioned contest ... while 3, Hornet (http://www.thepitbullbible.com/forum/bulldog_profile.php?dog_id=5803), Zipper (http://www.thepitbullbible.com/forum/bulldog_profile.php?dog_id=970), and Wasp (http://www.thepitbullbible.com/forum/bulldog_profile.php?dog_id=6825) going to my then-partner Leon. Wasp got killed by Zipper in an accident, while Zipper died young from eating a pie tin, and Hornet only got bred once ... and produced Griddog's Ch Mr. Serious ROM (http://www.thepitbullbible.com/forum/bulldog_profile.php?dog_id=6826) from his only litter.
