Since the database allows for the uploading of 4 photos per dog (plus a video), I am now going through some of my old photos to update the dogs of my own bloodline, just for those fans who might be interested. Since Poncho, Missy, and Ruby were the single most important elements into my bloodline, I will of course start with them :)

Vise-Grip's Poncho (http://www.thepitbullbible.com/forum/bulldog_profile.php?dog_id=2)

Vise-Grip's Missy (http://www.thepitbullbible.com/forum/bulldog_profile.php?dog_id=3)

Vise-Grip's Ruby (http://www.thepitbullbible.com/forum/bulldog_profile.php?dog_id=23)

Remember, the Media Center allows you to upload videos also, so eventually I will pull video clips off my old yard videos, and update with videos where possible :)

I will be continuously adding photos, and will announce when I do here, so this thread will eventually get pretty large :D

Enjoy,

Jack

Thank you, and she (Screamer and Jezebel) remain my top 3 bitches I have ever owned.

Sure wish I got more pups out of Missy, though, but what a specimen she left me with Silverback :)

He was a really neat dog ... constantly vibrating with intensity ... because every cell of his body "wanted to please" you ... haven't seen him for over 10 years, but I miss him everytime I see his photo.

Nice looking dogs. They look very similar to SuperStar's offsprings.

These are three different litters, every litter has at least 2 white heads in it.
Must be in his gene because his sister Secret doesn't throw white heads.
Btw, these are not famous VG dogs, just wanted to show the similarity in them.

Nice!

Here are some fun pics of Pretty Boy, a very game dog that (later in life) got to grapple with a lot of famous human fighters ... like Reylson Gracie :D

Vise-Grip's Pretty Boy (1xW, 1xL) (http://www.thepitbullbible.com/forum/bulldog_profile.php?dog_id=10137)
Enjoy,

PS: I think that white head is coming from Patrick's Blitz, Ch Hammer's mama, a nearly all-white daughter of Gr Ch Boomerang.

That's what I thought too when I was looking at Blitz's pedigree. I also thought SuperStar and Secret got that yellow coloration from Boomer as well. Since the dogs you bred and prefer were more buckskin and red, the lighter color must've came in every once in awhile.

The Hornet (http://www.thepitbullbible.com/forum/bulldog_profile.php?dog_id=5803) x LuLu (http://www.thepitbullbible.com/forum/bulldog_profile.php?dog_id=5804) breeding was a very good one, involving a dog that hadn't been touched at the time (Hornet) bred to a then-11-month old bitch in LuLu (who went on to win later in life) ... which just goes to show dogs don't need to be "tested" in order to throw badass, game dogs.

LOL, I remember a lot of detractors talking smack to me when I did this breeding, but I doubt any of them ever produced a dog what could whip one side of Ch Mr. Serious (who beat Hargrove so bad he bred to the dog 3x afterward). All-in-all, this litter produced 7 pups, 4 of which got wasted, but 3 of which proved fantastic. They are as follows:

Griddog's CH Mr. Serious (http://www.thepitbullbible.com/forum/bulldog_profile.php?dog_id=6826) (3xW, POR, ROM) - produced 2 Grand Champions and a 4xW, plus multiple unreported winners from Hargrove.
ML's Mr. Cho (http://www.thepitbullbible.com/forum/bulldog_profile.php?dog_id=10930) (1xL DG to a Champion when he was just a pup)
Sami's Boots (http://www.thepitbullbible.com/forum/bulldog_profile.php?dog_id=156) (a game dog that produced Ch Diesel)
Vise-Grip's Happy (http://www.thepitbullbible.com/forum/bulldog_profile.php?dog_id=10932) (died as a pup on someone's yard)
Vise-Grip's Tarzan (http://www.thepitbullbible.com/forum/bulldog_profile.php?dog_id=10933) (??)
Vise-Grips Star (http://www.thepitbullbible.com/forum/bulldog_profile.php?dog_id=10934) (??)
Vise-Grip's Rha (http://www.thepitbullbible.com/forum/bulldog_profile.php?dog_id=10935) (stolen from Leon)

Sure do wish I would have hung on to the bitch, Star, and the male, Mr. Serious, from that breeding ... but the whole litter really yielded a bunch of sturdy, beautiful animals.

Just thought I would share and reminisce :)

Jack

Oh, you bet. I still lower my head everytime I think of what this bitch could have been, and produced for me, had she lived.

But she got killed by Red Sonja and Diamond Girl when she was 16 months old. Got off a shit chain setup at Rudy's place, and was decimated in a tug-o-war caught between these two gyps.

A horrible way to go for a fantastic animal :crying:

Actually, Black Witch is a seal-colored dog (a derivative of black), and she was the only one.

I didn't know what "seal" was, back in the day, but if you look at her photo you can see the red highlights in her coat, which is part of the seal coloration (derives from a combination of buckskin + chocolate/rednose).

If you click on Coca Cola's (http://www.thepitbullbible.com/forum/bulldog_profile.php?dog_id=182) link again, I changed the 4th photo to show Coki on her first litter (which produced 4 pups: Stormbringer, Warlock, Tecate, and Black Witch) :)

Cheers,

Jack

PS: I never saw the color seal again, in any breeding I ever made, until I bred the chocolate Ouch! to the buckskin Missy and got Silverback (http://www.thepitbullbible.com/forum/bulldog_profile.php?dog_id=152) 8)

When the cage fighting events first started on T.V. Gracie at 185 pounds dominated this event for a good many bouts. His style of fighting was hard to beat. Many of the later cage fighters had to learn many of the take down holds. The Gracie family taught in their hand to hand fighting methods.

Here is a photo I found of Poncho's sister Missy being bred to Gonzalez' No Regrets nearly 20 years ago:

No Regrets x Missy (http://www.thepitbullbible.com/forum/bulldog_breedingprofile.php?breeding_id=535)

This breeding produced an awfully-game litter 8)

Enjoy,

Jack

PS: What the breeding page also shows is the way in which members can really keep track of all their breedings. When you have the dates of breeding, and the dates of birth or all the pups, the program allows you to list all the pups under the breeding. That way there is no discrepancy. If members really keep tabs on their breedings, after awhile the information in this database will be THE most accurate way to keep track of breedings ever, to display the pups that came out of the breedings, and to chronicle the record of the pups from each litter.

I was thinkin the same thing ... seems like only yesterday when Missy was my pride and joy and I was making what I felt would be a great breeding ... and then I remember that not only did she die 10 years ago ... but the last dog eve out of her (Silverback) died almost exactly one year ago today :(
