Silver Phoenix is looking like he's got some decent size to him. He looks much bigger than his sister Miss Hammer. Love those ears!
007 look very nice as well. What ever happened to Coca-Cola II?

Thank you sir ... yes, Silver Phoenix is almost as big as Silverback, he is athletic and fast as all hell, but he also has Phoenix's durable coat and hide.
As to the disparity in size, once again selection is everything ;)
They are all looking great Jack! :)
007 look very nice as well. What ever happened to Coca-Cola II?
007 looks a lot like a young Uey, with an intermediary "ear set" between Uey and Silverback.
I sold Coca Cola II to a guy in CA. Kinda hated to do it but, beautiful as she was (with perfect conformation), Coca Cola II reminded me more of a sweet Hollingsworth bitch than a blistering Coca Cola/Silverback dog. Nothing wrong with being a sweet well-bred bitch with great conformation, but I had a specific purpose in mind for that inbreeding, and in the end the individual that reminded me most of what I was after was Beowulf. But they were all neat pups in their own way
Cheers,
Jack

The only pup that made it from that litter is in Indonesia, and I may have an updated pic of her that was sent to me--I will take a look. As for the repeat breeding, check the breeding section of this forum and you will see the repeat is being made right now 8-)

Amazon is a TRULY SUPERIOR specimen of a pup, yes indeed! 8-)
Wakulla and Last Shadow were sold to a man in Indonesia, Sansiropits, along with John Connor (Silverback/Sarah Connor), Little Silver (Silverback/Little D), and both White Wolf and Night Howler (Silverback/Coca-Rilla).
Yes again, Silver Phoenix lives up to his name, being an "up"grade to the older Phoenix, just with a much better body and 10x the athleticism.

She looks fantastic Rich!
It is clear as day Nikita is a true Vise-Grip Dog in her athletic stance (strong front paws, held close and tight, with a wide rear stance for balance), and you will see this athletic stance displayed in most of my dogs like few others :ugeek:
You are probably going to get a lot of people "whispering in your ear," Rich, (via PMs) ... about all the "breeding plans" they have with your bitch (LOL!!) ... but when the time comes, please let me know, and we'll make sure she gets bred in the right direction ;)
As far as size goes, I honestly haven't weighed Beowulf in awhile, but I am guessing he is close to what Nikita (Coki II) is. Actually, though, when Nikita left here, she was actually the dog in the litter :D
Nice to have you onboard & Happy New Year!

Just to let you know, a son of Silverback and Twilight named Primate just DOA'd one in :13 on his second time down. Two holds: kidneys/throat.
I don't agree with letting things play all the way out like that, but Wildchild said he and everyone there were in a state of shock. He has won with a lot of my dogs, and just lost one DG with a son of Rocko, and he told me, "I have never seen a [] dog before until Primate (the dog's name)." His first time down he had a 4-lb bigger dog picked up in :09.

Its hard to watch but sometimes you just have to make sure what you have is the truth. I also have good results with breeding SS, AP and even SI. Their offsprings have that killer instinct they lack. But then they were bred to proven bitches who were killers themselves. What I do notice is that they inherited the defensive skills along with that killer instinct which made them better than their parents. So thanks to you and your dedicated breedings I now have top notch bulldogs.
Btw the two Pups I got soff SS and AP are out of the same bitch when I did a dual breeding. They are fully on and certified killers as pups . And the bitch off SI Doa a bitch on her otc under :30.

Thank you. GE is the most athletic then PB, Little Secret, then SuperStar. Even though GE is very athletic, at times when he just wanders around he looks a bit clumsy. But once he works, he just snap and go all out. He has wind for days and a crazy mentality so he never tire out or stop. PB is a total package, he is always in control, very intelligent, and when he grab on to something, you either have to pry his mouth open or choke him out of it. That dog could keep his mouth shut. Little Secret is as athletic as PB but she can't control her movement.(very intense) And run hot. We looked at her and she passed all her test. She's got mouth, very skilled defensive game bitch who will barely get touch for the first 30 minutes. Then she'll slow down and run hot and be the down dog but always holding onto something. We decided not to campaign her and keep her as a brood bitch because she's too valuable. As for SuperStar, he is the least athletic out of them but for his size(26lb)condition, i doubt any little dog could stand a chance against him. He's a smart defensive dog with mouth and who'll barnstrom and punish his opponent until he gets tire and by the time he's through, their mouth and nose are pretty much smashed already. And unlike his sister, he's got natural wind. He is also game to the bone if he has to go the distance.

Just got this photo of Wakulla. She went to Indonesia, and they said she has fantastic energy and athleticism, but has a lot of skin problems. I tried to tell them from the beginning that my dogs do better on raw, but who listens, right? Anyway, she has recently been sold because of her skin problems, and the guy who has her now is seeking my advice as to how to get her coat back to acceptable condition.
So we'll see ... but this was my favorite dog of the litter ... and I hate seeing her coat look so rough, but that happens sometimes. The guy who has her now loves her, and really wants to bring her back up to a shiny condition. I showed him a picture of how shiny the coats were of his parents, when I bred them (http://www.thepitbullbible.com/forum/bulldog_breedingprofile.php?breeding_id=617), and I now have his attention, so I think he will listen 8)

Very nice. Has heavier bone structure than his brother Beowulf. That is a valuable dog, hope he turns out as good as he's supposed to :)

Thank you. Yes, Gorilla Girl was a genetic masterpiece, and that is in large part to her mother Sassy, a quadruple-bred Hollingsworth bitch. It was a shame that Kilo lacked the cajones to send her to get bred to Silverback when he had the chance.
He (with his zero understanding of genetics) thought the breeding would be "too tight," but there is no such thing if you tighten up on the right dog. Sure, maybe a couple would have some defects, but a couple would have been absolutely fabulous too. That is the whole point of inbreeding: weeding-out the faults, and going forward with the "genetic perfection" of the individuals that come out perfecto.
And Gorilla Girl had the perfection of form, and the excellence of style, to be the kind of stellar daughter you're supposed to inbreed back to her superior sire. But, instead, Kile opted to breed her to mediocre nothing dogs by comparison because they were "right there." Frustrating to say the least.

I would do the opposite: breed a Poncho/Kitana bitch to a Silverback stud.
For one thing, most Silverback bitches are small, and when breeding two different-sized animals together it is smarter to make the male the smaller dog and the female the large
(As when I bred the 34 lb Ch Hammer to the 50 lb Miss Trinx).
It's easier on a larger bitch to produce the pup.
For another, you don't necessarily "get the the same thing" reversing who's the male and who's the female.
The Silverback dogs will actually elevate the athleticism/speed of the Poncho/Kitana dogs ... they are faster, have better balance, and way better reflexes.
BOTH lines were intelligent, but the Silverback dogs are also the ones with finish, by comparison.
(I've never seen a Poncho/Kitana dog with finish that was even close to what Silverback had.)
However, what the Kitana blood will bring is rugged bone density and (yes) power.
The best Poncho/Kitana dogs had a tank-like density to them, a physical power, and some had truly bone-breaking mouth.
So, if you work your mix right, I agree you should get it all :)

Beautiful bitch and a lot of dog at 32 pounds. Some of the very best looking little dogs that are just huge pound for pound. When breeding up a family of dogs this is what you want to strive for. Hard to even get deep game dogs if not built for the rumble. Cheers

Junior was just a thick, powerful WALL compared to Doc.
Doc's bites couldn't even tickle Junior, whereas when Junior bit Doc, he crippled him and fucked him up.
It was over in :12 ... Doc was done. I had to pick Doc up off the floor and carry him back upstairs. When I put him down on his own, he was on unsteady legs. He tried to hike his leg to piss ... and fell over on his side. Could not get back up under his own power.
Junior was not "slow" ... he was actually pretty fast for a 48 lb dog ... but he did not have the speed of my Silverback dogs.
But if he got his mouth on you, he f----d your $#!^ up. And it was very hard for another dog to put a dent in him, in return.
Mister (http://www.thepitbullbible.com/forum/bulldog_profile.php?dog_id=342), Hero (http://www.thepitbullbible.com/forum/bulldog_profile.php?dog_id=333), Mr. Serious (http://www.thepitbullbible.com/forum/bulldog_profile.php?dog_id=6826) were all the same way: smart, fogging durable, and would wreck you and hurt you severely every time they got their mouth on you.
At any point, no matter how far behind, they could change the whole deal if they got their mouth on you good.
And with durable, game, long-winded dogs ... that is a tough combo to beat 8)
I think Mister spent an hour behind Break Em Down's Jadakiss.
Jadakiss was a mile ahead, destroying Mister's face ... and yet with one bite on the shoulder, Mister broke Jadakiss' shoulder at the hour mark, and it was over in 1:20.
To be able break a dog's bones like that after the hour mark, especially with crushed sinuses, is something not a lot of dogs can do, but these dogs could.

Awesome read, my stud is bred down from mister, hero, and hot tamale. He's a powerhouse, built like a war tank, and will give you a better facelift than any Hollywood plastic surgeon lol. The few times he's hit the body he's done good work but he prefers the head, I guess he feels he's in control and also out of danger. I want to incorporate the ”Gorilla” in my program to add that sublime finishing capability on a consistent basis. I truly believe it could be special if/and when it happens

Yes, they are primarily head dogs also. The only places Silverback ever bit were deep on the ear for control, or on the muzzle to get something out, or he'd hit the throat once he had established control. Silverback never shook a front leg once; he never went anywhere else but the head/throat. (His daddy would go for the ass-end, though, but I don't really like that myself.)

But realistically, it will not for at least another 2 years.
