It doesn't say anything about a dog biting it's own handler that I've ever read.

yea, it also doesnt say anything about a dog biting the opponents handler.
its strange though how plenty of people say this does disqualify one.

It only disqualifies someone if the ref disqualifies them. Too many people pick up ideas and just run with them, and then they wonder why they look foolish. :)

Now there's a loaded question! Ask 20 people for a set of Cajun Rules and you'll get 20 different sets of rules. Therein lies the problem with the whole Cajun Rules. Nobody, and I mean nobody uses them how they were first written down in Cajun Country clear back when Hemphill was still in LA in the late 20's.

I wrote a set of rules that was generally well received by dogmen across the country. Unfortunately, they never got into widespread use as they adddress nearly all of the contention points I have seen and have known about over the years.

How about posting them on here? I enjoy a good discussion on rules.
