Hope everyone has a great holiday with friends and family. I am in California with mine for the first time in 11 years.
See y'all next week!
Now, I'm really California Jack again :)
Best wishes to all. Just got thru at my family gathering and now off to the in-laws. As much as I look forward to Thanksgiving I end up miserable every year. But no complaints here, just really, really thankful. Best wishes to all. EWO

I had a great Thanksgiving that I thought I would share 8)
Hadn't seen my brother or family since 2001 & it was great. (Wow, how time flies!) My dad is 85 years old now and my mom is 76 ... not to mention I just turned 48

My dad, brother, mom, and me.
I brought Patricia with me and she got to have Thanksgiving with all of us, plus my brother's wife and family. We all went to the Los Angeles County Arboretum (which is where they used to film the television program "Fantasy Island," and where I used to sneak in and cause havok as a kid ), and had a great time. They have thousands of interesting/tropical birds and flowers and it's a great place to visit with the family, so here are a couple shots:

Patricia was very pleased with herself after trying to pet a peacock.

My mom & dad still in love after 52 years of marriage.
All I can say is I am grateful that I made the trip back to Cali, after so many years deep in the woods with a bunch of bulldogs, that it reminded me of how much I had been missing out on. Family is definitely what it's all about.
Hope yall had as wonderful a Thanksgiving Day (and weekend) as I did :D
Cheers,
Jack
Family is definitely what it's all about.
I think I was trying to explain that to you many years ago.:appl:
