But if the breeder can't bred him and don't have the $$$$ to use straws then wont the drive gets lose because I would want to breed the 1 that's not thinking of the mating instincts but the hunt always. When I decided it was time to get pups off Jasper, I just AI'd him to get the pups/dogs I have today from him. Would he breed eventually if I would've stuck with it? Maybe, but at that point, I didn't see the point in fighting with the dog to get pups when I knew I could do it a different way.
