I use ground chicken and rice at 3 weeks of age. Introduce very small amount at first and add more each day. At the same time keep the mom away longer each day. By the 4th week they are completely off. I'll stop feeding the mom for 2 days and milk whatever is left from her. Pups seem to go nuts when they see me, thinking its dinner time.
