I wouldn't call this guy a Boyles stud, but he is 3/8ths of that stuff and a direct grandson of Red Johnny, and more importantly he is a deeply game dog. He has some very good offspring on the ground bred back to a heavy Boyles' bitch who are just beginning to show and win.

I have seen a lot of "Boyles" dogs; including ones right off of Ronald's yard, and most weren't worth breeding to. My experience is that they were almost all very rough, high ability dogs, and all well conformed, but the gameness was often very short. This sire right here will ensure that you get some bottom end while still keeping some of the traits the Boyles dogs are best known for.

Here are two quality and working stock BULLDOGS.

Meshack 1xW (http://www.apbt.online-pedigrees.com/modules.php?name=Public&file=printPedigree&dog_id=182919)
Not a pure Boyle’s dog, but he is an EXCEPTIONAL bulldog none the less. His dam is out of a daughter of both CH Emmitt and granddaughter of GR CH Sparky. He is a Hall’s / Boyle’s cross and he carries and represents the absolute best traits of his pedigree.

CH Movado 3xW (http://www.thepitbullbible.com/forum/bulldog_profile.php?dog_id=7119)
Another outstanding representative of this breed, and son of both CH Jethro 4xW ROM and Ms. Luther. He stopped one from making CH and another from making GR CH going over the 2 hour mark.

I like how he is bred. There's good dogs in his pedigree. The only worry I would have is his size. Would a smaller bitch around 40 lbs be able to push his pups out?

Batters was only a 46 in shape. I just got 4 pups out of a 29 pound bitch last March. He was also bred to our old SoCal Rose bitch who was about a 30. He was bred to our Lil Mary who was about a 35. He's never been bred to anything as big as a 40 pound bitch for that matter. This is not a line of big dogs in general, he is about as big as they come.

The particular bitch I was thinking about is 32 conditioned, but usually my partner keeps her about 40 fat. I'll have a talk with him this year to see who he want to breed her to, and I'll recommend Batters as a stud. If location is too far is it possible to do A.I? The bitch is in Midwest.
