What is the best way of joining the carpet to make the belt on a carpet mill? Glue, stitching e.t.c
Any advise and i would be grateful, cheers...:)

i used a product called cement (or concrete bond)......give the carpet about an inch or two and lay a cinder block on top of it.....worked well for me........
3M contact cement..about 1-1.5" band and compress it. EWO

contact cement....thats it!!!
works best if you coat both sides and allow it to get tacky to the touch before compression. EWO

I used the contact cement worked a treat, it was my first go at making a carpet mill turned out good enough, might change a few things. May take a few pictures and get them up.......
