Don't have the money to spend on an electrical meat grinder right now, would a hand powered one work for grinding chicken parts?

This is the kit I bought from Gander Mountain. The only time I use it is to feed puppies under 5 weeks old and during a keep. I think it's better grinding manually by hand.

Thank's OGDOGG, I will check that one out.
Yeah they are a mess, heated cleaning the one I used at work, just wasn't sure that it could grind the bone to, we only used it for beef with no bone.

I agree, that's the step I hate doing the most. That's why when I do use it, I usually grind a 10 pound bag of chicken leg quarters for the pups. Or grind enough for a keep, weigh it and store it in freezer.
Not sure if they still sell it there. I bought it about 4-5 years ago for a good deal. The accessories in the bag($49.99) was for free when I bought the grinder.

Will a grinder like this grind down bone and all?
I had trouble with the bones in the one I have. It will do it but sometimes you have to back it out and get another run. Mine has never been a one pass success. Walamrt and Tractor Supply sells one for around $20-$25. It works fine for no more than it costs. EWO
