Anyone who has experience with this?
Im talking about a distance of about 1000 km.

I heard if you can arrive 2-3 days in front, sedalin ( acepromazine ) is good stuff

9-10 hours of driving is way too long for a car sick dog. Think about the drive back after the show also.

Wouldn't a smarter strategy be having the other side come to you, if that is a weakness of your dog? Why do "you" have to do the traveling?

If your job as manager is "to place as many odds in your dog's favor as possible," then I am not sure contracting to make a travel-sensitive dog travel 1000 km would qualify as "good management."

If you have to do it, then yeah, traveling there a few days ahead of time would be the answer.
