CH. SCARFACE (pure STOMPANADO/MISS SPIKE dog from LG) 5 1/2 years
GURU (DIRTY MARY/BOOMERANG/RED BOY/JOCKO) 1 year
CUTIE PIE (DIRTY MARY/ELI/RED BOY) 6 years
GUMBO YA-YA (DIRTY MARY/BOOMERANG/ELI/RED BOY) 1 year
DAISY MAE (DIRTY MARY/BOOMERANG/STOMPANADO/RED BOY) 1 year

Its been fun, but just as all things, this too must end. These dogs are first class, and aren't cheap, so be well aware that you will have to pay for their worth if you would like the opportunity to own them. I'm done..... Take care & be safe...

Life itself, and the direction mine is going in. Too busy with business, family, and other personal things to continue. Things in this sport has changed for the worst also, and I just don't have the patience anymore to deal with the foolishness.

Best of luck. Nice bred dogs for sale as well. I made the same decision about 4-5 years ago. Mostly due to the time my kid needed, baseball from Feb. to Oct/Nov. Football from Aug. to Nov. Wrestling from Nov. to Mar. The dogs were getting less and less time. I could barley rake, feed and speak to them. Like most addicts I dabbled a little two years ago and found out I was not over the dogs, I was in recovery, but the turns out the addiction is strong. So best of luck. And don't dabble. LOL Again, best of luck. EWO

SwampDweller really hate that you are hanging them up. I really feel you on how our thing has changed. Flesh is flesh, we always been low down, gritty & grimy. Caan killed his brother Abel, Hitler and slave traders and runners worked at genocide but we are still standing. I say to you and yours God speed and my your new endeavours bear fruit..

It's going to be hard. I was told when I first got in that once you get the bulldog in your blood, it never leaves. It's a hard addiction to kick, and most people that get out usually get back in. It's much like when you first start; you get 1 or 2 and the next thing you have a whole yard and it becomes part of your life. Good luck in your ventures.

I know where you are coming from Swamp Dweller. Been down that same road. Shows how powerful the pull is on all of us in this sport. It just gets in your blood. Even when you quit it is still in the back of your mind. My father, grand father and great grand father had all sorts of sporting dogs. Might be a gene thing with me. I always had a good eye for a good dog/horse/or game cock.

I was awhile back just doodling on the internet. Entered some of my past dog's names and wham up they pop. From there ended up on the on line peds and on to Jack's site.

Have had several good seasoned and younger dog men offer to set me right back up. Just come pick out some pups or brood bitch. Made me feel real good to hear that. One thing I always did was take very good care of my animals. On very cold nights would worry if they were warm enough. Have gotten up late at night and put more bedding in their dog houses. LOL

Been over 40 years and still love the breed and sport. Recently I heard a bitch dog barking through the woods and across a farm field from me. Told my wife that is a P.B.T. they have a bark that is different than other breeds of dogs. I was right and no much longer started hearing puppies. Later a male brindle dog is on the yard and a few more.

This young dog man does not know that right across the field his neighbor being me had close to thirty five of those chain running yappers. LOL Have had close to eighty dogs at one time. When I see this fellow and his dog friends sitting around his house on the weekend chewing the fat. Plan to walk over and introduce myself and see what blood line they are running.

But as the Nazi Soup Kitchen guy said; No More Dogs for you (Meaning Me). Take care and good luck with the rest of your life. May God's Blessing be on You and Family.
