Thought I'd share

Recently found this site online, you can get abx by ordering through the fish section ;)
http://www.allivet.com/default.aspx

This is one of my go to sites but I am comparing prices to the above site
http://www.lambertvetsupply.com

Between the two you can get what you need! Any other sites recommended out there?

www.kvsupply.com is good one as well. Free ground shipping on 80% of their items.

Good info.

It's interesting that you guys mention "free shipping" ... don't be fooled! A lot of times, the shipping is figured into their (already higher) price!

Sometimes it's the opposite, though. Sometimes Lambert Vet has a way lower price ... but, after you calculate shipping, their price is actually higher than KV Vet

So it pays to check and see the final price (product + shipping) to determine which company, in fact, offers the lowest price than the other. Sometimes the advantage goes to KV, while other times it goes to Lambert.

I have never tried Allivet, but I have tried Jeffers Vet Supply (http://www.jefferspet.com) as well as Revival (http://www.revivalanimal.com), and sometimes these companies can offer advantages too, though not generally as frequently (esp. Revival, which is almost always more expensive than the others).

I was bored today so I did a quick comparison of 5 online stores with just 4 items and it was Lambert by a landslide. You may find cost for individual items at better prices from other stores but since most medications expire after 1-2 yrs it is more cost efficient to do all of your shopping at once for the entire year!

Fish Flex 500mg 100ct
Fish Mox 250mg 100ct
Pyrantel 32oz
Ivermectin 50ml

Lambert $108.30 (free shipping on orders > $100) called customer service to confirm shipping cost
Allivet $125.96 (free shipping on orders > $100)
KV $145.88 (free shipping on orders > $100)
Jeffers $137.80 (free shipping on orders > $100)
Revival $139.95 ($129.95+$10 shipping)

a litte offtopic but, when would someone prefer buying cephalexin over ammoxicilline or the other way around? cephalexin more wide spectrum?
now i use amoxicilline with gentamicin as main anti biotic. have some baytril on hand.

I like to have as many different options as possible.

There are some specific organisms (e.g., Enterococcus faecium, etc.) that amoxicillin gets but that cephalexin does not ... some the TMZ gets that neither does ... etc., etc.
