Thanks for the add jack. I'll spend a few days going through all the different features before I try adding dogs and contributing to much. So far it looks incredible!!

Is there any way I can take over control of a dog I own that has been entered prior to me joining the site? I don't want to clutter the site with duplicate dogs but I owned and bred a dog I would like to be in control of his ped thanks for any help on this subject

Hey there amigo, welcome aboard.
Thank you for being willing to go through the information posted before entering in dogs.
As far as "taking control" of a pedigree goes, no one can do that here. Not even me.
First of all, you can edit ANY pedigree here (yours or not yours), so there is no need for "control": we have an open door policy here.
Therefore, if you see incomplete/inaccurate data on ANY dog (yours or not yours), you are free to edit/amend :)
For example, plenty of people have put in "Vise-Grip Dogs" of mine ... that these people neither owned nor bred ... because some dog of mine was in their pedigree. Not a problem :)
If they left out info (photos/DOB/coat color/nose color/Notes, etc.), I can add them anytime I want to.
And you can do the same thing with ANY dog here you have info/facts on (again, yours or not yours).
So there is no reason for "control" of any dog here.
Cheers,
Jack
PS: The only thing you can't do is delete photos already put in. You can add additional photos, but you cannot remove photos already put in without administrator approval.

There is no "transfer" or ability to transfer.
This is a COMMUNITY resource. No one "owns" or "controls" any of the pedigrees.
Please re-read the above.
What is the dogs id # or name listed at the moment? Cheers

Thank you
The automated message everyone gets when they first register directly asks everyone to watch all the videos (http://www.thepitbullbible.com/forum/content.php?229) first ... before entering in any dogs ... and I wish more people were like you guys and would actually do so :)

No problem sir. A fool leaps in with both feet when they haven't checked the depth of the water.
