12 dollar.

ps: Found this other product against babesia also: http://www.msd-animal-health.co.za/products/forray/020_product_details.aspx
Looks to be twice as effective in prevention compared to berenil. Only available trough a vet though, in contrast to berenil.

If a person uses Vitamin K, be very careful. It's one of those things if you don't know how to use it, you probably shouldn't use it.

Frost, tbh i don't know much about it. Never had to use it so far.

Jack writes it on the list of what one should have in his med kit. Wanted to expand my supply a little and was just in the process of ordering it, didnt really got into it yet.

8. Vitamin K Injectable.
Promotes blood clotting and can help stop bleeders, as well as unseen internal bleeding that can occur. This is also the antidote for ingested rat poison. Give one injection IM or SC at 0.5 mg/5 lb.

If you can share any more info, very welcome.

If too much is given, it can be the blood entirely too viscous which makes it really hard to pump through the body. If that happens, the dog doesn't receive the O2 needed to perform, and that in turn will cause your dog to run hot and, well, we know the rest of that story.

I see, so people are using it to reduce the bleeding in show as well. I was getting it for aftercare.
