There are a couple methods i know of. One is salt, that could be dangerous though because to much salt is toxic to dogs. I've used mustard to make dogs vomit. A click on its tongue should work.

Yes. Hydrogen peroxide. 5 ml per 10 lb. I usually double that
If this doesn't work in :30, repeat and it will work after that.
This information is in your book.

And run the dog or walk it at a very fast pace. The fast bouncing movement will make the peroxide bubble faster and it will make the animal release everything it ate.
I had to do it on Wednesday of last week my wife's asshole dog ate my obedience tab that I've had for years.

Good advice.
Can't claim it as my own but I called a very good friend , ( I call her my wife's sister, they stay on the phone all the time) who is a Veterinarian and owns bulldogs and she told me to do this. This also helps older peroxide work better.

This same post was on peds the dog swallowed a tennis ball stop trying to make the hound vomit it is not gonna come out that way and you run a risk of it becoming lodged in its airway get to the vet if you want to save your dog.
