Any opinions or beliefs on this?

click on offspring of this missy and there is an alternate ped for honeybunch as well (would make honeybunch 75% pistol). Between this and the bo ped I posted it would change jeep dogs altogether.

any opinions, beliefs, feelings or doubts on this?

Wsk, before I give my thoughts on this issue of the Art's Missy pedigree per Mr. Ed Crenshaw. I can only assume this info. was on those taped sessions over the phone with I think Fat Bill and Mr. E. Crenshaw. Then posted on the You tube. Thought I would wait a little and let someone else give their thoughts first.

In the mean time do you have any of your dog's pedigrees posted on this pedigree site? Just curious to see what blood lines you are running with today. Cheers

Mr. Lester Hughes once told us the only way to find out how a dog was really bred was to win three or four or produce three of four good ones. Once that happened someone always 'knew' how they were 'really' bred. At least it was said in so many words. It is like the National Enquirer, 99% horse shit but I am always tempted to pick one up in the grocery store. A real 'guilty pleasure'. For me, reading about accurate and inaccurate pedigrees is the same. EWO

Here is a interesting pedigree, dog id= 17587. The off spring would be half siblings to the Art's Missy dog. The J&R CH Tiger dog's pedigree is true and correct. Doubt Carver's Miss Spike was even alive along that time frame to have been bred to the Tiger dog. Is a error that is even on the on lines pedigree site. Was not able to correct as of yet. Will have to look at the rest of the dogs from that Tiger dog. Cheers

One of my early mentors in the game said "if you really want to know how dogs are bred you have to breed them yourself". There is much wisdom in that advice.

That is about the size of it TFX. To many young dog men waste money on puppies and have no proper yard set up to raise them. When they should be looking for a good game proven brood bitch even if a older dog. Finding a good stud dog is the least of the problem.

Being patient and getting in no hurry. The extra time can be used in building brood pens, dog houses, chain set ups etc. Reading CA Jack's book on how to take care of dogs etc. When the pups arrive off a good bitch and stud dog. All that will matter is how things look in two years and so begins their saga of raising their line of dogs. It really starts with that person. Sounds easy but will be hard work with ups and downs along the way.

I never got tired of holding and loving on a bunch of 4 to 12 week old seal skinned Pit Bull pups. I too like Mr. Fox hated to see any of my personnel bred dogs hurt. Some things can not be avoided. It is a Spartan life. Why the Pit Bull Terrier is still the greatest pound for pound dog that has ever lived. Hoo Raa. OOPs I meant Cheers. LOL

Hello rodburner, The name sounds familiar but not sure anymore. Is the pedigree of this particular Bandit dog on Jack's site or the on lines pedigree site? If not on here will bring it over to Jack's site. Any of your best dogs or your friend's best dogs not on Jack's site, but on the on lines pedigree site. Let me know will bring them over.

Send me a private P.M. and give me some details and your friend's name. I will keep your friend private. One older dog men I need to visit or call if # not changed is Rowell. If Rowell and Johnson kept and carried on any of those Carver dogs bred pure with no Red Boy cross. Those dogs are some of the last original Mohican Carver-Boudreaux dogs. Could help a lot of Carver -Boudreaux dog men fans with some hybrid blood.

Sorry for getting off subject WsK will give my thoughts in my next post. Just finished up with another go around with the Fancier that posts under Danger's account on the on lines pedigree site. Along also with some other members. The Red Boy saga 40 years later, on how he was bred is really a moot point, just like your question on the duplicate pedigree of Art's Missy. Opinions will be given but still a moot point.

The Topic over there was Titled: Was Red Boy Really a Hemphill dog? Which Red Boy probably was not. I do agree with Fancier that Red Boy probably had a strong influence of Red Devil breeding coming from the Sire and Dam's side. Mr. Mims insist their was some Bullet breeding in there also. Mr. Mims was tight friends with Bass and knew a lot of the going's on with the N.C. dog men around his area. Cheers
