Talk to chopper Dan not long ago later on in his life when he was down sizing his stock and he was a big fan of the boomerang stuff he know it in and out! Told me that boomerang stuff was used in their day pretty much as we use the redboy strain for its gameness! He even broke dam the difference between a BOX breeding and blood breedings! Love the boomerang stuff coming thru the

Please Elaborate more Ragedog, first I'm hearing about the Boomerang being used for gameness. Now I know one of the men that got that train rolling with what he called "Pistol x Miss Spike" dogs was one that was hardcore on gameness but would tell anybody who would listen those dogs were rough and could bite. I've always known it to be very rough and carry the mouth to break you down.

I used to have this bitch (http://www.thepitbullbible.com/forum/bulldog_profile.php?dog_id=39681), who was 50% Boomer. Bred her to Silverback but unfortunately it didn't take.

CH Hammer's mama Blitz (http://www.thepitbullbible.com/forum/bulldog_profile.php?dog_id=7) was a nice-bred as a Boomer bitch could be ...

They way he explained it was that they would use it really tight to add gameness and toughness then cross it to the Eli stock. That was the way he used it. I always was a fan of the R.Duhon blood .

That blood isn't still sought after because it was just game. R D had EXTREMELY hard standards and the way he bred those dogs not only were they game, but had bad intentions. They fired up early, and would make any dogman proud as they blossomed.

Jack it has been a long time since I have seen or spoke with John Walston that owned the Gork dog. John along with the Lloyd brothers from Florida. Had a lot of the inbred B. Davis Boomerang dogs. Walston and G. Cox were good friends. When ever we were up at Atlas' Brewer's visiting and talking dogs. John and George usually were there. Along with the Edward brothers of Molly Bee fame. Cheers

Anybody know first hand about the dogs JC Bennett and Vince Cooper used to build their boomerang family?

In the for sale section under "prospects & brood" there was recently one for sale that was mix of heavy inbred Boomerang through the Duhon blood with a quarter Hammonds alligator/bully and touch of LG/Mccool (carver) blood. As far as pedigrees go it looked to be put together right but I know nothing of the individuals up close. I wonder if Mr. Duhon still has any Boomerang/pistol dogs?

I owned this bitch some years ago. Produced a champion, some winners, and some pretty honest dogs along the way.

Mr Ronnie Duhon no longer has dogs. Been done for quite some time. He is still around though.

Had this bitch who was a fantastic producer and very durable hardmouthed little dog. http://www.thepitbullbible.com/forum/bulldog_dogs_profile.php?dog_id=53407

Also had some stuff down from McDaniels Cornbread crossed into Chinaman. Unfortunately most of that stuff went into the hands of bullshitters so most the good ones that should've been shown were left to OTC and being scatterbred or taken by AC. The Chinaman really added the athleticism that the Cornbread dogs lacked imo but Cornbread threw very honest, durable dogs that stayed busy. Boomerang blood crosses nice with Eli/Snooty and Boyles blood from my experience.
