Blackfist, did you ever get to see Foust's Sandman or Foust's Tabu? The Beal's (Young's) Southern Johnny Rebel dog was one of the last Stud dogs Mr. Joe Beal used in his breeding program before he passed on. A young dog man named Reynolds had some of the last of his dogs.
I was the last owner of the Beal's (Young's) Amber and the Beal's (Young's) Flame bitch. Got Amber from Sonny Shropshire and Flame from Mr. Joe Beal. Both solid Red/Red nose dogs. Flame looked a lot like the Ferguson's Centipede stud dog. Both dogs were strong built, extra rough hard biting, deep game acting dogs. Their only down fall was being bad brood bitches, with milk that went bad in less than a week. Ronole Morris's Daughter was a registered Nurse and was able to hand raise that one litter that the Beal's Johnny Rebel dog came out of.
I gave the Johnny Reb pup to Mr. Joe Beal and he liked the dog a lot. Another I let V. Jackson have, but was drowned in Texas with most of the rest of my dogs. The others may have been destroyed along with the rest of Ronole's dogs when he got in trouble with the law. Morris may have been the last owner of the Patrick's Idi Amin dog. Was on his dog yard at one time.
The Foust's Tabu was a well bred bitch carrying the Creel-Carver dogs and some of the oldest breeding's of the E. Crenshaw dogs. To bad Tabu never got bred to a good straight Carver line or the Hollingsworth dogs. Cheers

I never meet Foust. But I have talk to him a few times on the phone. But these dogs have plenty of ability and plenty of heart. They will be there to the end.
