100% agreement that, "My word is my bond," is the #1 sign of a lying mofo =; (ttth)
Another one is, "Oh yeah, I feed all my dogs raw." (Most people are too lazy to actually do so over a prolonged period of time ...)
"I will never sell this dog," is another tall tale that is hard to live up to ...
And, finally, another beauty I hear time-and-again is, "I promise to give you breeding rights."
Usually, after agreeing to give full breeding rights to a stud you sell someone, the genius expects "pups back" ... as if I am paying him a stud fee ... rather than collecting on my breeding RIGHT he agreed to, to get the damned dog in the first place  :@:
Jack
"MY word is my bond", is a lot like starting a sentence, "To tell you the truth, blah blah blah",
Feeding raw is a good one as well. I visited a guy once who 'fed all his dogs raw' in advertisement. Got there and walked around and the trash can had a balled up bag from a hunting feed bag. But to each his own.
I guess my favorites or least favorites I should say, revolve around money and who is allowed to spend it. It is popular because a lot of for sale ads now have those disclaimers attached. Talk to your partner, talk to your wife, and then call.

How much for a package deal? Then they only want to buy one for the package price. Also, I want to breed three bitches, what's the package price. . . 4500.00 for all three is normal price, I'll do 1000 each if you breed all three. then they show up with one dog.. sorry buddy.. It's gonna be 1500.00, second oneiis 1500.00, and third one is free!! you fucking slime crawling hustling lying motherf() cker

People act as if feeding raw is a gimmick or a slogan. They think if they toss their dogs a slab of hamburger meat for more than 2 consecutive days that they "feed raw" now.
Just because a person grabs a bag of chicken guts and slings it around for a week does not make them "raw feeders."
Feeding an optimal raw diet takes planning and being given a combination of well-chosen ingredients, not just "some hamburger."
And the benefits of feeding an optimal raw diet do NOT happen from part-time efforts, but only from repeated, consistent, and continual efforts
Truly feeding an optimal raw diet is a lifetime commitment to your animals' welfare; it is not a "fad" or something to "brag about" online, but lie about at home.
It is a repeated, and consistent effort that is only possible by intelligent NON-lazy dogmen.
It will ALWAYS be easier to walk through the yard slinging kibble back-and-forth with a measuring cup ... but it will NEVER produce as good longterm-health results as making a true commitment to taking the time every day of the year, year-after-year, to provide an optimal raw diet.

I agree with you 100% on this point Jack. I bought 300lbs of chicken quarters just yesterday. I put 150lbs in the freezer when I got home and since they are already frozen, I let the other 150lbs thaw overnight. Then I have to get up about 45 minutes earlier than normal, put that 150 in the fridge and tend to some typical start the day dog biz. Of course, these quarters will only last 2 weeks, so to add to your above post, it takes a freakin financial commitment as well. I know there are plenty feeding more than me and spending more than me, but I feed 15 dogs for $400 a month. So yeah....it is no doubt a commitment.
How about the guys calling to do YOU the favor of taking your dog and "making him famous". "Say dawg, I goin send this fool to circuit in South America wit my connections. Once he champion out, I send him back to you as a stud dog"

Yep. True raw feeders have big, deep freezers full of dead animals/meat.
I had a good thing going in TN, had a meat supplier for over 65 dogs. Would fill 2 big, deep freezers with pre-ground/mulched meat/organs/bones with 10-lb bags of meat-mulch.
Cost about $1,200/month. (Another reason to select for small dogs )
Now, with only 1 dog to feed, I just feed Nature's Variety Instinct ... which is also about $1,200/month (lol, j/k)
Jack
PS: Yeah, I let PTK bullshit me out of 2 great bitches, after winning with one they bought ... which brings us back to the age-old slogan, "In God we trust; all others pay cash."

Lmao. yes, that's what I feed. Nature's Variety with raw boost for 6 dogs. I work 60 hour weeks, feed and water and clean my own daily, so it's the least I can do. 5 years from now, when I'm chilling on a beach somewhere, I'll prepare raw

I got a 14 year old dog at home that proves that the diet works! I've made it too easy to feed the diet. A upright freezer , 2nd fridge Meat and "Honest Kitchen" I currently feed 13 dogs and I can get them all done in under an hour and even have 2 that require beef suet because they are fast burners.
some complete raw meals are very good, i started feeding it again too so start throwing showdogs on me.

Thank you, and I really do like Machobear -- pedigree + looks.
I seriously always regret not doing this breeding (http://www.thepitbullbible.com/forum/bulldog_testbreeding.php?sire_id=327&dam_id=178) ... the dogs would have been simply fantastic (looks / gameness % / everything)
This (http://www.thepitbullbible.com/forum/bulldog_testbreeding.php?sire_id=665&dam_id=3) is another breeding I will always regret not doing ... just kick myself ... as I am 100% positive these dogs would have been as game as they can get also.
Jack
PS: I am in the city now, but may have to get off my ass and actually breed Amazon to Machobear at some point ... for sure ... but have to preserve The Gorilla first with this one (http://www.thepitbullbible.com/forum/bulldog_testbreeding.php?sire_id=25429&dam_id=222).
PSS: Next step would be to breed the results of both together
PSSS: I swore to get out of breeding dogs altogether ... and haven't made single breeding in 2 years ... but the disease never really goes away ... and can come back at any time

I'M ACTUALLY FEEDING 1 BITCH THAT NOW. BEFORE THAT, SHE STARTED ACTING FUNNY, WOULD ONLY EAT THE CHICKEN , A FEW OF THE GIZZARDS AND THE LIVER, BUT NEVER THE BROWN RICE (WHEN I WASN'T FEEDING THE RICE) OR THE VEGGIES. SO I SAID TO MYSELF I NEED TO FEED THIS BITCH A BALANCED MEAL, BUT I WANTED TO KEEP IT RAW SO I CHOSE THE NATURE'S VARIETY INSTINCT.

I had a guy send me 200.00 for a 3yrs old male as a deposit. I sent him 3 pictures of the male before he sent the money. He was suppose to send me the other 800.00 in 2 wks. He told me to take the ad down so I did. After that seem like 10 people call wanting to buy the male. I told them he was sold. A wk later he call me back ask could I send him some more pics. I knew then something was up. So I sent him 4 more pics. This guy going to tell me the dog back was disfigured and I'm trying to switch dogs on him. I told him look mfker I know what you're trying to do. You're not getting your fing money back. You not going to waste my damn time and I could have been sold the dog after you sent the money. Plus you trying accuse me of switching a damn dog. Then he go on about his plumbing in his house need to be fix. I told him you still not getting no damn money back. I told him I will give you another 3wks (that make a month)to finish paying for him after that the deal is off. I didn't hear anything else from him until 5 months later. I had bred that male to 1 of my gyps before I let him go and I had pups off of him. Then this same guy going to call back and wanted to buy a pup off of the same male he was claim was disfigured and a switch dog. I didn't say not 1 word and just hung my phone up. This is the male. http://www.thepitbullbible.com/forum/bulldog_profile.php?dog_id=41195

Sad to say that most people in these dogs are lowlifes/bums/thugs. Tried selling 2 of my dogs 1 month ago and all of the people except one that I spoke with on the phone sounded like crackheads/thugs/lowlifes....every other word out of their mouth was always "f**k" or "Nigger". Trying to sound all tough and hardcore...but at the end of the conversation they wanted to lowball me. The one gentleman that didn't sound like a thug was a guy down south in the country side with a strong southern accent.
