The Sorrels dogs in this breeding are down out Zeke, the dog that made Bolio.

Some of the best Mims dogs we have seen were Snooty-Bolio.

The Ajax dog was the Mims Snooty types on the top and the Sorrel's (Bolio type) on the bottom. A beautiful cross.

This is a dog that should have been bred a lot more but fate had a different plan.

I agree with you 100% EWO!
I have seen a difference running Bolio on the bottom & Sorrells on the top.

I also owned this female that was heavy Sorrells Bull.

I'm a huge Mims fan. With that said I have only seen a few of the Leblanc bred dogs and of the few that make it back to NC only a small percentage of them made it to the show.

They inbred a lot of the Snooty dogs form Mr. Mims. Stuff was their Red Boy source. I am sure there were good dogs down from that strain but with the source right here maybe enough of the good ones did not make it back.

A good friend of mine was pretty good friend's with Mr. Sorrells. My buddy loved the bulldogs but never really did any dogs. He was the best guy to drop off a six week puppy and get a well raised, ready to work 10-12-14 month old young dog. We dropped off several over the years and at one point "his dogs' won four or five matches in a row. He and Mr. Sorrells spent a lot of hours on the phone and it even included a visit. Mr. Sorrells walked him thru some carpet mill work as well. He had a ton of respect for Mr. Sorrells.

The funniest part is my buddy would talk working dogs with him, keeps and dogs winning. My buddy may have seen one roll and found out it was not his cup of tea. But he loved the dogs.

After Ajax I thought a lot more of the Mims/Sorrels or Sorrels/Mims dogs would pop up. Especially when the Mims dogs were heavy on the Snooty.

Fact. One of Ajax wins was into a 1st time out dog, and dogman. In fact, It was into big thickets own cousin. 1.st and last... Can anyone here tell me how many wins Ajax had already, before this so called show took place?

The one into his cousin was the 2nd or third. I'm not sure the resume of the dog in question.

The last was into the Mayday dog. It has been said the aftercare, or lack of after care is what did him in after the Mayday bred dog.

GR CH AJAX 6XW
by BTK

http://www.thepitbullbible.com/forum/bulldog_profile.php?dog_id=38291

Ajax came to my hands by some people who were at the dogfight show outside of Texas, They were modifying their yard, because it was difficult to keep good dogs in that place. So I got through a phone call to contact them to make me Ajax, I arrived with my truck as soon as possible to get this animal that caught my attention; It looked stunning.

AJAX was like a work of art. No one would have taken it because he didn't look like the typical aggressive dog everyone wanted to have. He didn't get used to being in the chain. In fact, most of my dogs did not have all that equipment for the previous games. The reason I chose Ajax was because of his big head and tall frame. I did not choose it because of its color since all the puppies looked the same. When I took him home he was very nervous, but little by little he got used to it.

Ayax was a very intense animal; He really got excited when he was around another animal. Ajax was a very young dog, when he decided and asked for a ring. At that time I was beginning the beginning of a new era in the history of Four by Four. I had doubts about when to fight Ajax and living in an area where dogmen are very jealous, it is difficult to get a concrete answer.

Well, I started testing Ajax and he scored, got good victories in his tests even though he was still a very young dog.

My first fight was with a man from Arkansas, he had a copy of the Coley blood; That is very famous.

Everyone thought that AJAX was not going to last long. Fortunately, it only took Ajax 22 minutes to turn the favorite into a finished dog.

His second fight was with a dog that had a good record. He was the Hardy Boys Ch Trobul, this was a copy of Bullyson blood; It was said that he had been robbed of Boby Jal's yard. He looked at a dog with a very good structure, maybe intimidating flagpole but I prepared Ajax very well for this commitment; While it is a lie or truth of the Origin of Ch Trouble As the old saying goes, prevention is better than sorry. The day of the fight Ajax looked excellent, attacked and defended as a whole teacher, Ch Trouble was a powerful dog but not for this fight, Although Ch Trouble lost, he was a true fighting dog. Since it proved to be a very strong dog and endangered ajax on several occasions, let's say that this fight was the Ajax fire test, where it demonstrated its potential against a very good caliber Ch.

AJAX, for his third fight, I enrolled him with my own cousin. He had been in the gamedog environment for some time and wanted to bump his dog against Ajax. Well the fight was agreed, My cousin and Ladnier started working on their dog. This dog was a Redboy, which he had from a friend; It was said that he was a very good dog with a tremendous bite; I did my thing with ayax, we gave it hard to its conditioning. The day of the Match I remember that we met, that Saturday morning and when I saw my cousin's dog, I didn't think much, it was like any other. Well that was until the beginning of the fight, this redboy came out attacking very hard and fast, Ajax defended himself as fast as he could and then began to counterattack, it was a very exciting fight, I was worried that Ayax was going to lose since this dog really wanted to go out to battle. I remember that this fight was one of the longest that ayax tube. Ajax finished the Redboy in 53 minutes and with this he became a whole CH.

I returned home and put Ajax to Rest, I gave him the best care, because I had already hooked him to fight again. We would have this commitment in the infamous Bleedwater Club of South Texas. This dog was a son of the Bear of whom they talked a lot. You already imagine what happened. In 29 minutes the son of the BEAR was picked up.

By this time TERROR felt at the time of talking about AJAX. For this, Ch Gus was called about whom we had all spoken to deal with AJAX. My partner from the outskirts of jiuston in Aries Kennels had told me that I was going to try to hook him. I subsequently told him that if he hooked it we would make AJAX a GREAT CHAMPION, and we would put it in history. Ch Gus was a good pitbul and built an impressive record. Ch Gus was from the WAR EAGLE Yard, H. Hargroves, said Ch Gus could beat Gr Ch Blak Yack, and this was the best dog he had ever seen. My friends told me that it was true because Hargroves had owned some great dogs like Gr Ch Outlaw, Gr Ch Rufus, Ch Bo ROM, Ch Crock, etc. The odds were 7 to 1, favoring Ch GUS. The day of the meeting, Ajax scratched like a rocket at 100 miles per hour and was on top of GUS in less than: 05 minutes. It was something really impressive, as in many cases it usually happens that the dog that is supposedly less likely to win, ends up beating his opponent. A curious note is that I did not imagine that this fight was going to be like that, at that time my dog became the GR CH AJAX.

Well, as if Ajax hadn't shown enough, people still couldn't understand what we had accomplished; We had an Ultimate Match in mind against a half brother of GR CH LUKANE. The dog was CH Noriega, he couldn't ask people for a better dog.

A guy picked us up at the airport, and left us at a hotel.

We were going for our sixth victory and Noriega was going for his great championship.

The dogs were washed and the fight began. I released Ajax and he bit Noriega's chest as he did with Ch Gus. We all expected a good dog like Ch Gus was, but Noriega was a tremendous fighter better than we thought. In fact, Noriega handled the fight better than Ajax; This dog was the best we had put on Ajax. Things even went to NORIEGA in the first 30 minutes, after this Ajax started destroying Noriega. Finally, the handler picked up the great Noriega. Ajax had won his sixth bout, and once again he was very pleased.

The rest of the story I think they know her, NORIEGA died in the ring, and my dog AJAX did it hours later.

I will never forget the great dog that was GR CH AJAX, always fought with a heart and will remain in our hearts forever, I believe that like all lovers of this breed and passionate about this sport, there will always be a dog that we can never forget depending on the triumphs he has given us. My great champion Ajax.
