i got 7 pups here that are due to be wormed. im using the pyrantel pamoate 50mg/ml suspension. i understand that its 3ml per 10 lbs of dog. i can worm mom no problem, my problem is im a shithead when it comes to math , i dont even know where to begin with the puppies dosage...or what formula to figure it out on the calculator, so please....bare with me there....lol

i weighed the pups, so im hoping somebody could give me the dosage per each weight....or.... atleast give the formula to figure it out on the calculator.

i appreciate the help fellas.

male 1= 2.23 lbs
male 2= 1.93 lbs
fem 1= 2.13 lbs
fem 2= 1.93 lbs
fem 3= 1.60 lbs.
fem 4= 2.10 lbs
fem 5= 1.91 lbs

not sure if its worth mentioning or not, but the pups are 3 weeks old (i know, im a week late...shame on me!:embarrassed:)

You could break it down to .3ml per lb.

I got here like this: 3÷10=.3

In my opinion it isn't going to hurt to round your pups up to the next pound. Pyrantel Pamoate is super safe even when overdosed.

A quick note. If you are using a standard 3cc syringe each thin black line is one tenth of a cc.

.3 is three tenths, so 3 black lines so not quite 1/2 a cc (.5)

Yep that's what I would do because this wormer is so safe being exactly precise isn't a must.
