I would like to hear any feed back from anyone who has ever fed horse meat. I know guys who fed it in the past for dogs in keep, but would also like to hear opinions and ideas of feeding as a raw diet.
I believe horse meat is low in fat so wouldn't be my choice for in a keep.

This is true, but just like any raw diet, we can add or subtract different things to get a good end product. I'm thinking horse meat may be somewhat similar to deer meat as far as the protein content and lack of fat. I can buy donkey's for $25 apiece. That is a lot of meat and organs for $25. If I have to supplement the meat with fat sources, that is still big savings. Fat and oil is pretty cheap in comparison to the buying meat products. Thanks for the feedback Nut, keep it coming.
