Jack that was Jerry Nelson from Florida. He was active in the game back when V. Jackson and I were active. Jerry was associated with B. Davis/J. Hands/Lee/Mc'Dougal/Ramsey and the rest of the Florida combine group. I do not know how long Jerry Nelson remained active in the game.

When I first met J. Holcomb was down in Florida at a get together and Nelson was present. Was my understanding that J. Holcomb use to box golden gloves. Holcomb was clowning around with Nelson on a bet he could not hit him in the nose. Bet was for $50.00. Before Holcomb could finish his statement he got hit in the nose for his troubles. LOL Then Holcomb decided he wanted to finger wrestle with Nelson. Holcomb got his finger broke on that challenge.

Nelson was a easy going sort, and around average height but was a very powerful built person. Only got to meet him that one time. V. Jackson knew them all real well, since he was stationed in Florida for awhile. Cheers
