looking for top breeders opinions on the breeding that i am thinking about making this fall. My bitch is 10 years old and probably doesn't have that many breeds left. breeding to her son gives me a 45% chance at getting the same genes back. She is one of the better dogs that i have had so of course i made her a foundation dog. Check the ped out and give me your opinion on if its too tight. http://www.thepitbullbible.com/forum/bulldog_testbreeding.php?sire_id=45025&dam_id=29956.

Nope. Not too tight.

No such thing as too tight. If they are both representative of the traits you wish to continue I would say you should do it. Just be prepared to cull for any negative traits that you don't wish to have continually coming back in future breedings.

Just as an example this is a double father daughter breeding that turned out ok.
