when you around these dogs for some time you hear stories , I know I started out hearing them
but at some time people show you pedigrees of dogs and tell you stories of dogs from lets say 20 years ago
you were there , you know that shit didnt go down or that breeding never happened

do you burst the bubble or shrug your shoulders and move on
I tend to move on

let me give you an example
I think it was around 95 or 96 I reffed a dog , he beat a dog that came over from Mullins
at the day of the show he was chocolate

he was sold to another country and became quite famous , only issue is now he is black

You can try and help folks but ultimately they will believe what they want. Even if you know for fact and not hearsay. There is a dog thief over on peds right now offering up stud that was stolen. He changed the ped to make it fit what he believes but doesn't change the fact that he is stolen. Even worse is he stole a bitch too and bred them and now is selling pups off stolen dogs. I believe in at least letting folks know but again be prepared for the haters.

Haters gone hate potatoes going potate. I say bust the bubble and be factual about it show some evidence no just join in the gossip.

The kicker to the truth is that people need evidence and facts to believe the truth. People will believe a lie so much quicker. That has always baffled me. It is not just in the dogs. In life people have to explain when they tell the truth but a lie will be accepted much easier. What worsens the issue is people will repeat a lie much easier.

I'm split. I would want the truth if it involved me or one of my dogs. When it is not me and not my dogs it is sort of none of my business.

Pretty much.

The simple truth is basically boring, but a juicy lie.....that is a whole 'nother ball game.

I've actually known a dog, for real, that did indeed change from a reddish chocolate to being black in his later years.
Anyone else see this shit before?

The dog's name was Hammonds' Roger Son

Well, I think that's a tad extreme in a viewpoint, but if that's how you want to see it....

I would try to tell them the truth. I personally don't care if I'm called a hater or not, as the truth tends to usually offend someone.
