Anybody have a product or remedy you use to regrow the hair back on a bulldog? I have a bitch that I'm having to take to the vet for an A.I. Breeding! It's her legs and shoulders I'm really concerned about! Any info is greatly appreciated!

Nu-Stock and PF Wonder Salve products are worth trying.

This sounds simple and like I'm being a smartass, but I'm serious. Give the dog regular weekly baths before your vet visit. Mane and Tail is a good shampoo to use and a cheap conditioner along with it. You'll moisturize the skin and coat and the hair should come in fairly quickly.

You can use topicals between baths as well.

You might try some coconut oil too. Add some to her food and you can also rub it into her skin, it won't hurt her at all if she licks it off. I buy the organic cold pressed coconut oil for humans at the store, and it is great for dogs, helps their coat and has many other health benefits.

Salmon oil is also a helpful thing to feed. Both of these oils should help with her coat along with the above suggestions.

Sure thing SGC! I mix it in my protein shakes so I have some already! Never thought about using it for my hounds! Preciate it!

Pure Vitamin E Oil, rub it in well and use a little everyday and you should see some very positive results in a couple of weeks.

I should also add that if your looking to help heal wounds I recommend Hoof Alive.

If your looking to heal wounds and promote hair growth Granulex V is a good option!

Granulex was the best stuff ever. So of course like most good things the FDA forced the company out because of certain claims.

The product was originally for animals then it was bring used in hospitals. To my understanding the claim it "debrides necrotic tissue" is where the FDA had a fit as they hadn't inspected the claims or something to that affect.

This item was pulled in 2015...sad to see it go. :(

Yes. And if you mix in a little DMSO it's even better.
