Can't get these damn dogs to tie. He's not swelling inside the bitch even while I hold him in place but is fully extended when he dismounts.

Pulled him away so he could retract and noticed semen leaking out the bitch. I'm aware pregnancy can be achieved with slip mating, but like my chances better with a tie. Any thoughts?

Never had the issues with bulldogs. We had Fila Brasileiros once and every time he would stroke and hit the target she would yelp and try to pull away, almost like she was not ready, but more like she did not want to be bred.

It was bitter cold and he finally drove one home and she shot off him like a rocket.

We gave up and said we would do the AI the next time around. Weeks later she was as big as a house and had 7 puppies.

It can happen but I am sure the percentages are really low.

Thanks EWO,Seen you post this account elsewhere. AI appears to be my next move. Just never seen or heard of a dog constantly balling up outside the bitch.

Not sure of the answer for the dog but maybe AI is the answer going forward.

I think the other time the subject was 'will a female take without a tie?' and our Filas wa the only one I had ever seen.

Best of luck.

Human ED meds. Give him a quarter of a pill. He'll get harder. I had this problem with a stud dog.
