Blood in stool

Need some answers i have a dog that his stool has blood in it need to know how and what cause it and how to take care of it please help me in this matter thank you

How much blood, is it fresh red blood or is it black and tarry stool? Was it just in one bm.

i recently changed feed and it's been about 3 days with blood in stool but its gettin' lighter

it could be many things, best to check a vet if you have no clue.
