That is the only way you can form a true opinion, is to try it out for yourself ... so thanks for doing so & glad you like the info :)

Speaking about braking sticks .... Anyone know where to get the ones Rushin Bill used to sell !?! ... They looked like a clear plexiglass type .. They sure as hell worked great .. Always tended to get a pair for myself, never got around to it.

The guy that ran that site goes by the name Colby Dogs on some of the other forums but i haven't seen him post in a long time. Check out O'briens, their poly sticks are the best I have used.

Tennis Racquet Grips. They work great on that handle.
I am an O'Brien's fan myself. Nice poly sticks. They work well. And they are basically inexpensive. I like the poly because I leave mine outside at the dogs. It is more durable in the elements than the wood. I hang out two or three spaced out amongst the dogs for easy access. EWO

First sticks I had were made from the same. Hickory hammer handles, had a Deer antler given to me later. Used a leather strip, tied it to the staple on the end of the hammer. I've even made sticks out of paint roller handles. LOL Now I have a set of poly sticks from Overtyme Kennels.

most mass-produced commercial breaking sticks seem to look more key chain ornaments, maybe best to make your own, its easy as hell.

Here's some sticks I made, a lot of guys from here and the uk bought them from me and where fairly happy with them.
These where some of my early efforts but I've gotten a lot better at them, they work nicely I think.

These are made from chopping boards, the boards to get are ones they call a marzipan board from a professional kitchen supply company, the marzipan board is a more solid plastic and gives less flex. I cut the shape out with a jig saw and then shape them on the belt sander. They're quite easily made.
