Small turn out but I had a good time. I got 2 second place wins in the CH of CH class and my wife did really good again in the weight pull area with her little male who came in a 39.5 pounds but went out at 2088 on Saturday for a 2nd and at 1890 on sunday for another 2nd place. Not too bad for a girl who just started training her dog 2 months ago.

The 1st place dog was really nice a little shorter in the loin but not too short and better road work. But I'm on her ass with this big girl. It took the judges some time to pick between the two for sure. But I would have gone with the other female myself had I been judging

Wish more people had that way of looking at the dogs. It gives you space to improve on what's lacking. I've seen dogs at athletic shows here which owners where just too hung up on their own dog to see their faults, wheter it was in conditioning or just the dog that wasn't the right type.

we call that an honest eye for bulldogs and i think it takes maturity to have.years ago my eyes wasn't so honest and it caused me to miss out on good dogs and more importantly good relationships
