A good bath with regular dawns dish washing soap. As always worked great for me.

Just remember, Dawn alone won't get them all.

There will be residual fleas in the carpet/bed (if house dog), as well as the dog's bedding/chainspot (if yard dog).

Frontline spray is safe for pups 2 weeks and older. Contains fipronil the ingredient in frontline spot on so you only have to spray them once a month. I have found it best for the pups before I use the actual spot on application.

I use DE on all my dogs beddings, on straws in dog house, on blankets, and even on news papers for dogs wholl eat cloths or has allergic reactions to straws. It basically kept all bugs out of their bed and out of them since they have DE all over them. I haven't seen my dogs scratch them self or has hot spot in over a year.

That is actually a great application for DE, to be used as a non-toxic substitute for sevin dust.

Yes it is. When the dogs laying out side, flies and bugs scattered like Godzilla came out the ocean.
