Alright Jack, if I were to put my grinder to good use, what would I need to put in, ingredients wise, for a good quality puppy feed for weaning purposes?

I figure a little bit of liver, some gizzards, some meet (either beef or chicken), I would put in a touch of oil and some soft boiled egg. Still got mom in the evenings for milk/calcium.

What am I missing and what advice do you have?

Thank you!

Use the exact same thing you're giving the adults, just grind it to a pulp.

I personally use either Nature's Variety (or canned equivalent), but if your meat grinder handles bones the ingredients profile is the same.

All a mama wolf does is regurge what she herself would eat, and your meat grinder is the "regurge" equivalent :D

Watch the video section, Putting it together. All you need to know right there. Good luck with the pups.

Gizzards, Liver, Oils, Boiled eggs, Chicken quarters, all ground together. Pups are 3.5 weeks old. Took to it like candy. Of course they were messy as hell and I had some clean up, but they loved it. Damn good litter thus far.
