He's only been bred twice. 1 dog reached maturity from the 1st breeding, hes a good one, place him with a local hoghunter . The 2nd breeding are all small pets except for 1 (the biggest one) in michigan but sounds like all theyre trying to do is breed his nuts off.
so basically all i can tell u is that he throws athletic high drive dogs.

Thanks bluebeard. that pic was taken at a yr old, need to updater

Heres a male from that breeding you're talking about with tiger. hes upper 40s. I let the guy who has him now breed to him. i took this one from the litter n gave him to a dart friend but made him agree to feed a certain food.

Can come out with an offspring like this beautiful specimen ( Vanilla Slice )....

What are the probabilities of a Black/Seal colored blacknose dog bred to a Brown/Buckskin blacknose dog and produce an almost White Buckskin rednose dog? I'm just curious.

Only reason I'm asking is because Vanilla Slice is a really good looking dog and he can pass for being my dog's twin brother....

Thanks in advance!!! :)

Actually, the color is MILK CHOCOLATE (not buckskin) ... and as for the "probability," it isn't very high, because the only other dog of that color I can think of that came out that color was the recently-born White Wolf (http://www.apbt.online-pedigrees.com/modules.php?name=Public&file=printPedigree&dog_id=400282).

Don't you think he is merely a throwback to Phoenix' coloration but with a red nose from the Hollingsworth background? He has the full drop Hworth ears, or at least on the left side he does. :-)

Actually, that is what I originally thought, what you just said. And I believed this thought until Vanilla Ice sired a black/seal-colored dog, which would be genetically-impossible for him to do if he was a true blonde/rednose dog. The only possible genetic explanation for him to have thrown a black/seal dog when bred to a buckskin bitch is that he is a "milk chocolate," not a blonde/rednose.

One more thing also, is that both Ouch and Silverback had/have beautiful full-drop ears, which Silverback throws rather prepotently in a high-percentage of his offspring.

Hmm, I had not even heard of Milk Chocolate. So basically it is a dilute, like blue dogs eh?

Yes, it is definitely an "official color."

While I don't know the exact science behind it, there are basically genes that control coat color as well as nose color. Chocolate itself is some kind of diluted black gene with a rednose. And, just as red/rednose dogs can be anything from almost a mahogany-red color with a red nose, all the way to a blonde color with a red nose, essentially it works the same way with chocolate-colored/rednose dogs. Therefore, "milk chocolate" is almost like a blonde/rednose, except he's still got the diluted gene for black in him.

If you look at them close, you can kinda see the difference, but sometimes there's no way to tell ... until you see a black/seal pup come out, when the other parent isn't black, and then you realize that what you have is a "milk chocolate" rednose (not a blonde/rednose), as is what happened with Vanilla Ice :)
