There were some good ones that Bill Licon bred using the Cochran blood with his CH Alien based stock.
I agree the White Bandit blood (through working stock) crossed with the Cochran blood clicks well. You just have to be very selective, and patient with the White bandit blood as it can be tricky.Originally Posted by TFX
I have a male crossed with some of the SHORTY COWBOY stuff they are straight forward dogs the guy that i brought him from told not to breed it too tight and that all you needed was a little bit like a 1/4 and breed off of that he told that when you get a good 1 you have a good dog and you would need a better dog to beat him cause they were hard mouthed dogs and would fold your dog up.
they are some high strung hounds i can tell you that much almost a yr old and its none stop go on their setups
The body structure on those dogs is terrible.
I don't think I could stand looking at dogs like that all day.

Something that is a easy fix if u ask me! Also I love the thickness of their bones! Not a fan of their structure b.u.t my low are they some tuff s.o.b's!
Spoke with some people today that has this very same cross! I can see the shorty blood in them b.u.t the amboss pulled every thing into the right place!!
Always loved a good midnight cowboy or shorty bred line! Not a fan of most of their builds and if you go to tight it just gets worst.
One thing i do like is the good ones can finish !!
