Why do you think his title says ch jerry por? When you go into good dogs you can win AND lose. Don´t hate.
Qualitatively, those three letters don't mean anything, at least not to me they don't. There are plenty of Champions not worthy of the title, despite their achieving the numerical criteria to be a "Champion". Maybe that's enough for you. Any old dog can rack up three wins if their opponents are junk, that doesn't make them worthy of the title Champion, yet technically they might hold it. Similarly, though a dog may be a POR or ROM, it doesn't speak to the quality of their progeny's wins. I'm not sure if you've actually seen anything off Jerry, but I have. Ch Jerry himself is a decent dog based on the show I've seen, but the dogs I've seen off him I didn't like at all -- including Ch Tomy and Ch Jerrycona. Leaving the mystery of how Tomy managed to win three aside, in his 4th he was picked before he quit. In Jerrycona's second, his opponent jumped the wall rank in short order -- this was a 1xW! (You can get an idea of the quality of the competition that dog faced to become a winner.) Ch Spike is arguably the best of Jerry if accounts are accurate. I've seen maybe half a dozen more dogs off Jerry, but at risk of being called a hater, I'll just leave it at that. Regards.
I have seen at least as much as you have and i liked Jerry's shows very much. You can say whatever you want from his offspring but still if you would only look at the first breeding SF Kennels did with Ch jerry por, to supabit por. He produced ch spike 4W1L ch tomy 3W1L and Pongo1W1L. Is that a reason to stay away from CH jerry blood? You dislike Ch jerrycona, though she made champion title at the age of 18 months old. I traveled down to Romania to watch pongo go into CH Mrki, he just recovered from suffering Babesia and wasnt shown in his real weight, broke his leg in the first 5 min minuts, he lost but showed deep game. Ch spike lost to Ch arun 4w which is a great dog. You're talking like it would be the worst possible choice to go for jerry blood while SF kennels was award KOY for 2 years in a row by Romanian dogman. I know him personaly and he is a great sportsman. Now he lost some matches and the haters are loving it. Couple of new crosses are being made, now would he dedicate his life to something he wouldnt believe in or some new guy should stay far away from?Ch Jerry himself is a decent dog based on the show I've seen, but the dogs I've seen off him I didn't like at all
As I said, based on the show I saw I thought Jerry was a decent dog. I said nothing negative about him. I also said I believed Spike was a good dog based on the accounts I've heard, though I hadn't seen him with my own eyes and therefore can't really make an evaluation in his case. As for Tomy, I gave the reasons I didn't like him. I don't think he's a quality dog in any meaning of the word. In one of his wins he spent most of the show on his back and only won because the other handler picked up his dog -- a dog who was on top the entire show, and still on his feet with nothing resembling serious damage! As for his loss, I don't think further commentary is necessary. Your absolutely correct about Pongo, he showed he was a bulldog against Mrki. I'm always open to being proven wrong. R2l, you happen to know how hard it would be to send a dog there. I looked around a little and it says the pit bull is on a restricted list.
With all due respect, a dog can only beat whats put in front of him! Did u prove your point by beating any of the champions? Did you atleast offered to put up a nice juicy forfeit? How many champions do you got on your yard? I have seen those videos of the jerry sons. Like em or not a dog dont get lucky 3-4 times. Only way to prove a point is to beat them. I don't live in a theoretical world...
i'm glad to hear that you know romanian dogs (i live here). i have seen spike with ch arun, and i liked it a lot, but arun was too powerful for him. i treated him right after (he was in shock) - and i have seen (feel) the damages in his chest , his muscle were completly torn apart, i felt the naked sternum wright under his skin...
i'm not a prefessional dogman (in fact, i'm a woman and vet), so plese don't feel offended about my opinion.
