    Tudor's Dibo

I'm planning to make this breeding or one very similar to this in the near future. http://www.thepitbullbible.com/forum...2&dam_id=37960 I did a 14 generation pedigree on this breeding and it said 1251 x Dibo 560 x Carvers Black Widow. Then I put my Silverjack male on top of Bull Boy's sister out of curiosity and came up with this http://www.thepitbullbible.com/forum...90&dam_id=9358 1024 x Dibo 770 Black Widow 164 x Bolio at 36% in a 14 generation pedigree. My question is are these numbers accurate Jack ? Thanks in advanced

IMHO, any time you can put a family of dogs that go back to a Heavy Dibo x Black Widow blend, Blind Billie or Tudor's Minnie influence. You are hopefully going back to some of the better foundation bred dogs. I would love to see a very good working Colby and Heinzl line revived. Not just bred on the Colby or Heinzl name. If even possible a AM Staff Tacoma Jack blood line revived, but revived by field testing and not just a pedigree.

I know many would boo on the AM Staff Tacoma Jack recommendation. That is understandable. In the book that Bob Stevenson wrote, he mentions of a very successful horse ranch. That bred up the best, in the field working quarter horses. To the best of the show type quarter horses, and got even better working quarter horses.

I imagine these staff breeders today, probably cull all pups that look more like our dogs or show any dog aggression. Those would be the ones to get for field testing. Was a great shame that one segment of the AL Brown/Tudor/Corvino dogs was lost to the show dog peoples.

Good luck with this breeding. I feel you will get some dogs with pit smarts and a hard mouth. Should be very strong for their size. Only time will tell. Give your brood bitch the best feed and care. These could be some very valuable dogs for the future of the dog game. Hang onto all the red smuts, if you get any. Cheers

Thanks for the insight on the breeding. Bull Boy Bear is all bulldog and so far producing very promising offspring as well as Cherry. I'm interested in blending Vise Grip blood with the Red Pirate ,Crabb bloodlines. I think they will complement each other but we'll see thanks again.

It's not the number of times that's relevant. It's the % that makes the genetic contribution what it is. For instance, I'll put Snoopy against any other Dibo % out there. You're dog is 13.3% Dibo. Snoopy is 31%.

All that being said. I believe thise heavy Dibo dogs need the Clouse Corvino blood, along with the Heinzl blood. It's my opinion that the Carver, Heinzl, and Clouse blend is what made all the winning Bolio Tombstone blood in the past. I'll be breeding Snoopy to my flame bitch in the future.

What do you get on the Dibo percentage of Blueprint's second test breeding? if you use Ca Jack's Correct pedigree info on the Mason's Hammer dog?
