    It depends on certain factors.

By the 3rd generation is it your own unless you buy 2 family bred dog from a family breeder & you use no outs.
All you are doing is breeding "there "bloodline. You must use someting different for them to be yours.
If you buy 2 dogs from different strains (different families) & breed them the 1st pup can be also if you continue down from that one.
If you sell it to someone else than all you really did is just breed others dogs & noting more.
1 single generations does not make it your bloodline & niether does 2 but by 3 strait generations if it goes does not go to another person & they .
Most argue that petty detail trying to claim something someone else done.
If you are real then you won't have to tell anyone it's you bloodline. They will see it when they read the pedigree.
You don't have to do what I do & go balls to the wall breeding a family so just breed at least 4 or more generations of your dogs.

There is no doubt who bloodline is it once you do it & the see nothing but your name.
everything less is just petty & people qiuick to claim something without doing something.
    This one.

And this one or just 2 of my family bred different branches on my family tree yet still mine down to the same roots of the family tree without having to say they are.
