I'm not sure if his web site is well known but Richard Stratton certainly write some excellent books on the breed. His web site has some good articles too, I had not looked at it recently.

I REMEMBER HAVIN 2 OF HIS BOOKS WHEN I STILL HAD STREET BREDS. ONE OF THEM WAS THE WORLD OF THE AMERICAN PITBULL TERRIER WHICH I GOT FROM A TRADE I DID WITH A FRIEND WHO WANTED A PUP FROM I LITTER I HAD ON THE GROUND FOR THE BOOK & SOME CASH
