brown recluse
Thank GOD i never had to deal with a recluse bite. I spray my yard very well. I was reading on peds where a guy was having trouble with a spider bite. I was wondering what would be some alternatives for treatment versus taking a hound to the vet if it can be done? i found this link http://brown-recluse-spider.ascended...2.htm#OrderOil
What you guys think about these products? I dont really post often but just wanting to add something to the board so that we can all learn from. What's the proper way to care for your hound if it gets bitten by a brown recluse?

The best thing for a brown recluse bite is 1) azium or dexamethasone and 2) a strong antibiotic for the flesh, like cephalexin.
In bad cases, there is a drug called Dapsone (labeled for human leprosy) that is also effective at neutralizing the necrotic action of recluse bites. However, Dapsone also has an adverse effect on male reproductive organs.
