i got a new pup

Okay, officially that there pup is 23.44% Frisco, 22.27% Chinaman, and 7.6% Eli Jr.

However, I only went back 10 generations, so that Eli% would probably go up quite a bit higher on a 15-30% search.

The program I used to have that would go back further doesn't work with a Window's 7 64-bit operating system

A WIC is a Wright's Inbreeding Coefficient, which is a calculation done on the % of inbreeding behind your pup. This is done with a pedigree program, which is also where I came up with the % of each dog in your pup's ped.

Just wondering what would that mix be considered and the mix with my male and Miss Fury would be check his offspring and you would see the plans I have in store for him......that's in advance.....so the pedigree online percentage is not accurate? And how can I see those facts you are talking about "Jack"? Just want to know.....................

As for the stats from PedsOnline, they only go back 4 gen, so they're not very accurate. I went back 10 gen, but the further back you go the more accurate the results.

You would have to buy your own pedigree program (or wait until our Pedigree database is operational) to conduct an extended generation pedigree search.

its quiet simple

look at the 4th gen of frisco, you can find 4,5 eli type dogs out of 16 . that would make frisco 28 % "eli"
if you look at the dogs he was bred to get to this one, you can see that black velvet, yoko, china girl and miss sassy all have a lower percentage "eli" blood then frisco so that'll bring it down to 15-20. that's if frisco's ped is correct

but having a certain percentage of blood on paper still doesnt mean so much
a dog can have 75 % of of xx blood and still be a throwback to something else
