I have had bulldogs since 1988. To this day as far as males are concerened, Only three dogs that I have been in love with. They are:

    1. Southern Kennels Macho out of Mayday and Blondie POR . He was the first shotgun dog that I ever owned. he had a TREMENDOUS work ethic. He would pull me 30 mph on roller blades. He had a 10 for a mouth and you could not hold him in the corner. He was my first freak and the only dog that gave me the feeling that I could travel from here to timbuktu and win. He made ROM in only four breedings. He beat a 4xer going for Gr.Ch. his first time out. The dog had beaten Cuban Missing Link, Havannah Chico, and Strictly Business. To this day, it was one of the best shows I have ever seen. He died 12 days later. I LOVED that dog and cried like a bitch when he died. HE looks like and reminds me of Jack's Hollingsworth's Truman dog

    2. Gr.Ch.Machobuck. To see him go was to watch Federer play tennis, Wayne Gretzky on ice, Michael Jordan make his way to the hoop, Muhammad Ali in his prime if he never went to jail. He was an ace of Aces. His biggest feat if you ask me was winning #3 against old man Jacobs traveling 24 hours, showing up 6 weeks later to win his 4th traveling another 24 hours, and finishing up his Gr.Championship 8 weeks later against Ch.Edge who had beaten Stukes Ch.Goofy , E Harper, and the Wallboys. People describe him many ways, but I think Toe Tag Kennels said it the best, " The other dog was a great dog and he came ready to fight, but Machobuck comes to kill." I like that analogy. To me, he was like a ninja that came and slit your throat while you slept. ONCE in a lifetime dog.

    3. Machobear has the same genetic percentages as the original Macho (Ronin) and is a son of Machobuck. To some extent, he is a bit of both. He is as wild and driven as the original Macho with an extreme work ethic , but he hits the Machobuck money spot and a little back end as well. That is why I like him so much. He is all three of my favorite dogs in one. Add to that the he is out of the 1996 DOY who sired the 2002 DOY who was then bred to the 2004 DOY under one pedigree being 50% Redboy Jocko and 50% Bolio Tombstone with 3 of the most prominent strains of Bolio and all of the producing redboy jocko dogs.... well... you can see why I love this dog.

Small mention.. when I breed him to Artemis.. it will add the 2003 DOY and some Vise Grip blood to encompass the best dogs in both strains of the past 20 years

...and that gentlemen is how you do a breeding plan. That breeding didnt take but I will repeat it.

Good read. They all look great. The best dog I've seen was a grandson of macho.

IMO the complete package. Whatever you tried he did the same to you, way harder. Finisher!
