As many of you know, EZ County (Trent) was killed in cold blood in his mobile home a few months ago. The month before, he and I were discussing his contributing some stories of his dogs for the forum. This is the first, and last, story EZ ever wrote for us, sent to my PM on 3/16/13. Let's all enjoy ... even though he and these dogs are gone now:

Thankfully my girl was here to save them. The whole litter was started by the time they were just 1 year old. Doeboy was a little different than the rest. I think he was about 9 months old when we first set him down, he took the bottom but scratched like a rocket every time. He did this for 3 or 4 more rolls, he would take the bottom and an ass whipping then get up and scratch like a rocket. I was getting pretty frustrated with him and even thought on culling him out. Nuc brought Doeboy's half brother up to put with him. This was the first time Doeboy decided he wasn't going to take the bottom anymore. He got on that dogs head and split him from behind his eyes on the forehead all the way across his face down to the bone. I have never seen anything like that before or since, this was in like 10 min. We stopped it and put a whole staple gun in the other dogs face. Needless to say that dog was pretty much ruined because that scar would reopen whenever he got bit on the face. We looked at Doeboy 1 more time after that, we stopped that one at 23 with the other dog squirting blood half way across the box out of his nose.

Doeboy's first was into some guys from SLC, who ran around with Jon ***** aka the contractor. Think we had a 4 card on for that night, Doeboy was first to go and they were an hour late. When they finally showed I told em to hurry up, I was promptly told to shut the fuck up and that they were gonna kill my dog today, "We got a tounge dog". I just chuckled and said thats good I need a chain space anyway. Well I thought Doeboy was gonna be an Ace in the face after his previous two rolls. Well they dogs wrestled and fought each others mouths for the early part of the show but by 50 min the other dog was stone cold dead. So we win right? Wrong the other side starts arguing that I have to get a handle and scratch. So while we argued for 11 min Doeboy was dragging a dead dog around by the throat, I finally got a handle and he scratched to a dead dog.

His second was into the same crew different guy but the same result. Doeboy had their dog down and was finishing him when they picked up in 41 min. After his second Doeboy sat around for at least 18 months maybe 2 years before I finally got him hooked in Canada in a 2xw off of Mechanic I believe. I made the mistake of taking him at the same weight that I had been before. This was by far his worst showing ever he was weak and under weight but he stopped the dog in 1:13. I traveled the 15 hours in a car by myself to get that show done. Doeboy was one of the best dogs I have ever seen, he never really ever got hurt.

Wish I would have gotten more off of him, I only got two litters one bred back to his momma and the other off a 3/4 Ez Money gyp through Doeboy's sister Golddigger.

Right now I have 3 males off of Nestle (Doeboy x Kenchita) bred to Tarzan all three are worth at least a cheap bet. Jax who is chocolate like his grandpa Doeboy is the best though. Jax is slick as oil I have seen him stay on offense in the shoulder of a good dog but that dog could not get to Jax's shoulder to swap. He is very smart and will finish if he gets you down. 2 dogged him for 45 one day and he hardly got a tooth in him, put back on his chain and he was running around like nothing happened.

ps Ch Shiver I only saw twice both times she was just a pup. The first time we set her down with a solid little gyp that was completely schooled and a potential match dog. Shiver was breaking her front end down we stopped at 7 min for the others sake. The second time was with a gyp that had never gone before and would not fight back, she would scratch every time but wouldn't fight. Shiver was trying to finish her. We then sent her to Eloheem where she stopped a Buck dog and a Barracuda one in 12 and one of em in 20.

take care
