How "happy" you are with "your pups" doesn't mean dogshit, quite frankly.

The REAL question is, CAN YOU SEND YOUR DOGS TO **ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD** AND WILL THEY GET OFF THE PLANE AND **WIN** 9x OUT OF 10, REGARDLESS OF WHO HAS THEM OR WHAT THEY GO INTO?

If you can't answer, YES ... then shut up

That said, interbreeding *BOTH* family *AND* traits is the key to *LONG TERM* success ... and the rest of the flash-in-the pan shit doesn't matter.
