    Glad you enjoy the features

However, one thing to keep in mind is there is no such thing as "too closely-related" when breeding dogs ... there is only using the wrong individuals.

    Cheers,

    Jack

If all things equal and the right dogs chosen would you still inbreed again with 34% coi or maybe even a little higher.
I under stand selection is key here but just looking at numbers is that getting to tight in your mind?

my male is 45% and female 29% both pure sorrell but take a test breeding 15 generations and they only 21% together would have thought they'd be through the roof inbred...

I've always agreed with Jack on this. If your individual selection is correct then there is no such thing as too tight. Case in point, this is a very strong bulldog.
His parents were very strong bulldogs. ( not just talking strenght )

    Good points.

This dog is fairly inbred: Gr Ch Happy Jack (5xW) @ 28% ... but his son Gr Ch Sir Dog (7xW) is severely inbred @ 63% ... all calculated at 10-generations.

So like I said, if you're losing ability in your inbreedings, don't blame the technique, blame your selection

    Cool

i also enjoy the database spent countless hours and have almost all my mutts in hats off i guess ill adda lil 2cents here to the convo there is no right way or wrong way to breed if u strongly feel u have the master plan then fine by me but i think we will all breed what we like via standards looks abilty health stamina mouth gamness w/e it may be.I personally have took some the main blood i been working here for years and made different crosses with and line bred it in the family meaning for example aunt to nephew doubling up on a cross with great individuals with in a family has worked nice for me and im happy with that i have as of late trying to create a great line of my own threw the dogs i have owned in the last 15 years i dont care how they were bred really as long as there good dogs and i have been happy thus far and feel blessed to have had the honor to own the ones i have
