Vise-Grip's Hornet was a littermate to EZ's
Chase and
Chita, both super producers, but was rolled only once, into a Frisco dog. Hornet beat this dog, but it didn't go long. I only bred to him once, because the guy I sold him to never looked at him really, and at the time I had Stormbringer, Poncho, Duke Nukem, etc., so I just didn't care too much about Hornet. Well, based on the all-game litter he threw (bred to LuLu), including the truly great Ch Mr. Serious, and based on the incredible success of EZ's bloodline (based on his sister/brother), I should have bred to Hornet A LOT ... but just didn't.
Vise-Grip's LuLu was a mean, rough bitch. She was bred (untouched) to Hornet to produce Mr. Serious (see
this thread), but after she had the pups, I rolled her into Hornet's other sister Zipper (who was smaller). Zipper outclassed the shit out of LuLu, but when LuLu's size caught up with
Zipper, she wrecked her pretty bad. LuLu was very rough and powerful, but a little slow and crude for my taste, so I sold her to Pine Top Kennels. He matched her into Celtic Club Kennels, and LuLu weathered an early storm, and scratched on her chin to stop their bitch in like 1:06 I think. She produced Ch Mr. Serious when bred to Hornet, and another Champion when bred to a Boyles dog.
Vise-Grip's Bandana was pure poison. She was lightning-fast and stronger than most any 3 dogs her own weight, and is behind several phenomenally-powerful animals (
Ch Vengence /
Ch Tulipa 4xW, etc.). Bandana only had one gear: FORWARD ... and at 30 lb she could push/smash 35 lb bitches into the corner and would root into their kidneys and guts. No dog ever made Bandana take a backward step. Ever. Not one time. She could be controlled on the head by certain ace head dogs (
Jezebel /
Cherry Coke /
Stone Rose) ... but if you were not an A+ head dog, she would be buried in your kidneys, or wearing your stomach like a hat, shaking the bejesus out of you. Any dog that could not keep Bandana out had to be picked up immediately.
