effects of anabolic hormones in dogfood?

On a russian board there was a little discussion going on about feeding raw chicken to dogs. Since chicken, and i think allot of others animals too, who were bred and raised for mass consumption, been giving growth promoters/ anabolic steroids.. how would that effect the dogs being fed by that same chicken/meat and would it be any different from feeding kibbles?

Not to mention all the medicine they put into the animals.

I beleive in the saying, "You are what you eat". A good food documentary to watch if you have a chance on Netflix is "Food Inc". It explains the whole meat business made for mass consumption and using horomones to speed growth. Studies show this to cause cancer and abnormalities in the animals. There's studies showing GMO's, chemicals, pestisides, and fertilizers in fruits and vegestables may do the same.
After doing a lot of studying and research on the subject my wife and I switched our family to an organic diet. It cost a little more and fresh foods may spoil quicker but we notice a difference and taste and quality of our food.
At this time I'm experimenting with organic dog feed and this is what I'm using.

I'm getting great results so far. Solved the problem of one of my dogs with mushy cow poops. Nothing helped. Antibiotics, Raw Feed diet, switching dry feeds, till I made the switch to this stuff. It's fermented so it really helps with digestion. Would like to see what long term results I get on it.

There are no meat animals being pumped with steroids or growth hormone. The cost to profit ratio would not work. As for anabolic steroids pumped into chickens and so forth.....HOG WASH! A damn 10cc bottle of Testosteron cost 75-150$. Common sense here. Do you really think, to have an affect, needed form the drugs, that chicken farmers are providing enough steroids for THOUSANDS of chickens every month but only selling the chicken products themselves for 50-99 cents per pound? NO WAY IN HELL. Growth hormone is 4 times the cost of simple hormones like Test.

I don't want to sound rude, but get a clue men. There is no way in hell, they are pumping HORMONES in MILLIONS of chickens a year......they wouldn't make any money if they did.

Hormone products have huge price fluctuations as every other medicine depending if it is for human or veterinary use, so no, 10cc testo do not cost 75-150$.
Chickens are only given antibiotics because first of all they have developed hubrids that grow fast enough and second they do not need huge size animals since they are sold mostly as whole or overpriced pieces and the market seems to preffer a 4 portions size, so 3-4lb.
Beef is another story, consumers buy pieces at a high price, so hormonal use has an interest since the weight increases due to water retention, this is why when you cook a piece of beef in a pot for a stew or whatever it comes out half size.
In humans the consumtion of hormone supplemented animals has only negative effects since the doses are low for athletic performance but high enough to have an impact on the natural body production. I would assume that the same applies to other mamals.

Unless it's stated it's rBST Free it has growth horomones in it. Recombinant Bovine Somatotropin is an artificial growth horomone produced by Monsanto. It's now being sold by Alltech. The Monsanto is the same company creating patented genetically motified fruits and vegestables. The European Union and Canada have banned the use of this horomone and genetically modified organisms.

I understand there are numerous hormones, but we were talking the price of test. I don't live in europe, so the price here is the only price i know. It's expensive.

On the other hand I live in Greece, Balkan area, two hours drive from borders with Bulgaria for eg, so testo and dogs from specific bloods can be accessed at a low price. If I want a pup from USA I will pay its weight in gold I guess but I can access a few other stuff at a low price, lol.
