Thumbs Up ((( SHARING HISTORICAL PHOTOS & PRESERVING HISTORY )))

Okay, I have finally got it so each person can now upload and store his/her own photos here on our server.

Any Subscribed Member can now create multiple Albums, each of which can hold multiple photos in it. Subscribed members can post up to a total of 500 images!

Here are My Albums for you to check out.

But it gets better! Not only can you post the typical .gif, .jpg, and .png images ... but you can also post Microsoft Word documents, Adobe .pdf documents, and more! (This means we can share medical references, letters, etc.) Your images can also be HUGE, up to 1200 x 1200 pixels-wide! All of your Albums will be kept under your user name, and they can be shared anywhere on the internet via provided URLs and BB Codes. (In other words, you don't need Photobucket anymore!) Therefore, if you want to post more photos than what you're allowed on just the pedigree database ... such as scanned historical letters, photos of famous dogmen, or whatever BULLDOG-RELATED items of interest you may have, as a member you are free to do so now

For a full tutorial on how to create your own photo albums watch this DVD

Among the photos I have put up so far are one of me and Lester Hughes taken back in 1990, Reylson Gracie (of jiu-jitsu fame) playing with Vise-Grip's Pretty Boy, as well as some truly historical memorabilia. Among the historical memorabilia I have posted, include letters I got from Mr. Hollingsworth back in 1992, right after I made the breeding that produced Poncho and Missy—as well as a letter I got from Russian Bill proving that Anderson's Ch Tonka is really off of Patrick's Pinky not Red Baby! Here is the envelope of the letter from hollingsworth:

    Letter from Hollingsworth

You too can share all of your cool dog-related letters, images, etc.!

Plus, when people click on any photo, they can also comment on (or ask questions about) any particular photo that interests you (must be a Subscribed Member to comment). The point is, not only can we share cool, historical stuff with each other, but if we all participate in and share our historical photos/experiences, etc., the Albums feature will ultimately be a great source of knowledge interest for Subscribed Members.

The more people who decide to climb onboard and use this Resource, the more fun (and important!) this Resource will become for all

BLAST FROM THE PAST: CA Jack with Poncho & Missy, circa 1993, almost exactly 2 decades ago today ...

Damn, I was skinny back then

Guys, post your historical photos here, either of you (if you've been in awhile) or someone else if you took it.

Remember, you have the ability to create your own Albums and store hundreds of photos to your account here (you no longer need Photobucket, etc.). We can use this thread to share with other members many of the historical photos we have, over and above any actual dog photos saved on the pedigree page.

    Let's have some fun

Great picture Jack. See you kept those dogs nice and tucked up. Best be sitting on ready when the time came to get one ready. Seen dogs snatched off the chain hog fat and tried to be put in shape in four or six weeks. The results more than often were never good.

Was one advantage in the South. Warmer weather and less harsh winters allowed one to keep dogs leaner.

    Yep, exactly.

I was in the high desert ... 110-115 degrees in summer ... no trees ... a dog's shade board was (literally) the only thing between life and death out there ... and you definitely didn't want them fat if you had to make "roll call"

Thanks. One of the rare photos of me with either of them, let alone with both together. Wish I was more into photography back then ...
