I would be going for a more working, non peddling kennel...

I'm looking for the righted best producing Yellow dogs through AAA or Red Devil. I'm attempting to do a heavy line bred yellow breeding to preserve this blood. If you know of any working kennels with studs like this point me in that direction. Waccamaw has done real nice Yellow studs as well, but if Thug is a legitimate ROM dog I could care less what Pit Island is doing with their dogs as i will not be peddling mine I wouldn't let any go if I can get this breeding or a similar breeding done.

Just a word to the wise: look to preserve traits not "blood" ...

Two dogs can have the same "blood" ... yet possess (and throw) vastly different traits

One might throw slow, dumb leg dogs ... the other might throw super-fast, all-around dogs ...

I don't know anything about Thug, what he has or what he throws, and I do agree he's bred nicely ... just make sure he has (or at least throws) the traits you want

Theyre a good kennel to work. Tty to contact them through their site. My partners work closely with PIK and the have a good bit of their blood. I have a young one with some Thug blood in her. She is a good acting gyp so far.

I like your crazy eyes jr dog and your big john 4 dog both very much as far as the paper stacks up.
My partner and I recently acquired a very heavy bred Yellow female from evolution and we have been discussing which way to go with her next. First breeding we are gonna do is with a jeep/redboy male we have and that breeding will take place this week. When we breed her again I would like to take her to a pure Yellow male to try and preserve what we have. After reading the articles on this site about line breeding and reading up on the wright coefficient, I have an idea of what direction id like to go but this is still a little ways in the future. I'm starting the planning now though because I'm sure we will have to either arrange for straws or for travel and we want to be prepared when the time comes.

I'm at a disadvantage here as we got this female after her hunting days and we are going strictly on the word of a person who is respected in these dogs, and she has no offspring of age yet. When we do breed her we will be keeping everything so hopefully we will find out more about the traits she is passing on in due time. My partner wants to do some out crossing but I would really like to get one heavy line breeding out of her before hand.
