What people don't know is many of the "cruel dogfighters" have their own house dogs do this to each other also ...
What's also interesting is the dog on the left in the photo came from that huge mid-west dog fight bust a few years ago.

Imo kissing pitbulls is not the image the majority should have about the breed. Next thing they r gonna try to let one "kiss" 1 in the park again. Id rather see family photos or photos with children with bulldogs. Through my eyes is not good press either, just another savior story out of the hands of cruel man."They are the underdog and I want to do what I can to change public opinion about the breed."
I care nothing about your opinion here.
It is my opinion that THE WHOLE truth needs to be told, and understood, about these dogs
The WHOLE truth is that 100% dogfighters, who do nothing but fight these dogs, and who give them no love and no life ARE big pieces of shit ...
And that 100% tree-huggers, who who can't accept THE FACT that these dogs are warriors and LOVE to fight are insane (or, at the very least, are lying to themselves).
The TRUE DOGMAN understands and provides for his dogs on all levels .... he understands that they're warriors and that they need to be held to a high performance standard ... AND he understands that these dogs are also intelligent, emotional creatures that CAN form awesome friendships and have a need to be socialized as well.
THE BEST dogs are invariably well-rounded animals ... who can be pets too.
In fact, my 100% "fight crazy" dogs were never my best dogs ... ever.
Jack
Ditto Jack, those fight crazy dogs sometimes prove to be more of a problem than they are worth. Many of the bitches of these types will not raise one pup. My best dogs were calm easy going dogs with intelligence. My Chuck dog would not hurt a puppy, young dog or grown bitch dog that approached him in a submissive manner. Yet in the show ring on a dog or bitch Chuck was was all business to the finish.
Many times, not all(exceptions to all rules), fight crazy dogs when in a tight jam. Cannot remain calm and work their way out of the situation and end up quitting. Why some old timers would quote early to start early to quit remarks. One does want a strong prey drive but without some intelligence along with it. Is one more factor that can put oneself on the losing side of a dog pulling event. Cheers
Absolutely agree with everything you said good sir, and your Chuck dog is my kind of dog
Agreed, but it doesnt change my opinion. Same like with the whole cesar milan thing. People watch it and actually believe its the owners fault for a pitbull to show aggressive behavior to another dog. Which it isnt in most cases. I think its in no ones benefit to "change the public opinion of the breed" into dogs that love and kiss each other. Thats when accidents happen. The WHOLE truth is that 100% dogfighters, who do nothing but fight these dogs, and who give them no love and no life ARE big pieces of shit ...

While i agree that its a beautiful thing when great fighters are intelligent and social dogs who can get along with other dogs in the house.
I agree 100% the whole truth needs to be told when it comes to this breed.
But that rarely happens in reality, whether it be television through so called reality shows, media, Facebook and a gazillion other message boards.
It gets nauseating hearing rescued "bait dog" or former "fighting dog". I don't think a performance breed, such as ours needs to be in ordinary "soccer mom" homes, no more than GSD's, or other large powerful athletic type dogs.
And while those pictures are fucking cute as a button, when I read the story that came along with it, all I could do was SMFH! Some of those dogmen's dogs were well kept and looked after, and in a much better situation before the Calvary came knocking.
And I to believe a well socialized bulldog makes a better all around dog.
